I work at a local computer retailer. I had a lady in her 50's purchase a 1.5G computer with a GeForce3 AGP card and 512Mb of memory just so she could play everquest. $1500.00 puchase for a game? - Addiction sucks.
As soon as you get out of school where projects are determined by a prof, and gen out into the world where you have more of a say in what you do, youll come to find that you love it again. besides, most college grads I know aren't in their area of study anyway (I am a software developer, I have a degree in Accounting, but CS wasn't offered at the time i graduated) Good luck
Don't take away from Taco's accomplishment. I'm sure that ABC & CNN have more money and man power to throw at the increased traffic./. managed this with 6 servers and one support team.
