PVP is what makes eve so awesome... Why wouldn't JGE want to focus on it as well due to the popularity of it in Eve? And to say you can't focus on both is absolutely ridiculous.. Just look at the market in EVE, or invention, or missions, or ratting.... Sure EVE PVE isn't great but the PVP aspect is what makes the game the way it is and the PVE still is decent.
You kinda sound like an EVE carebear to me that mined in Jita all day until that was nerfed - and probably got your ship suicide ganked a few times - and now you want JGE to be the PVE hold hands all day paradise that EVE isn't... Hello Kitty online is that way.......
Among other things, this makes piracy MUCH harder, because the sattelite providers can buy pirated receivers, take them to the lab, find out the key used, and revoke it, disabling that entire batch of pirated receivers without affecting normal customers.
Actually, it's still pretty easy from what I've seen. As mentioned in another comment, when you buy the 3rd party receiver it cannot decrypt any providers signal that is scrambled out of the box. The receiver does, however, have a SD card slot on it where you can load new software onto it. The updates have the key required to decrypt the signal.
Then DISH network would revoke the key every month or so (when using the cracked encryption) that the receiver now used. A new update would then be available soon after to again decrypt the signal.
And no, I have never pirated satellite. A friend of mines relative decided to do it but did not have the cable ran from their old DISH satellite to their living room anymore. Of course when they said they'd pay me to run them a new one I didn't ask too many questions.:)
I think that only enlightenment themes got nominated because most themes for other windowmanagers are merely a different set of images and colors from all the other themes for that windowmanager. Enlightenment themes are truly unique from theme to theme (for the most part).
I was just wondering what you are going to do if someone actually decides to take you up on an offer to go to court, how would you actually afford a lawyer and court costs as I have read that you hardly have any money to your name. P.S. I say Roblimo sets Ken Williams up for an interview after this poor excuse for one, I would be interested in hearing some of his views on this subject as well as others. --If you have any legit replies, email me them as well, thank you.
I'm guessing the reply to that question would be "We chose iMac's as our office machines for their nice compact size." Since everything that comes out of JP's mouth is complete BS I would be guessing the real answer is "We like to play with the cool little iMac mice and the pretty point and click gui keeps us busy for hours."
This reminds me of an article I read in a teen magazine that comes with the local newspaper called "React". It had an article on a kid that decided to dye his hair 2 or 3 different types of colors to change his look and the school expelled him and would not let him return until he washed the color out saying that it was a sign of malacious behavior. He ended up transferring out of the school after taking them to court. My point is, if a kid dyes his hair as a way of saying "I'm going to do something bad(TM)" how is making him wash it out going to change his state of mind? I think it would just make him even more angry. BTW, that was actually a decent Katz article, even though everytime he references Hellmouth I bust a gut laughing. >:)
I listen to Paul Oakenfold no matter what I am doing. I find the set he did in england nice to code to. Of course, any Paul Oakenfold is good to code to. >:) I also like to listen to Chris Avery when I am coding.

This leaves me GREATLY concerned. Sure there are other sites like Demonoid, but Demonoid does not have a pr0n section on it.
Anyone have a good alternative for replacing the internets pr0n downloading via bittorrent back bone?
"OH NOES! MY PR0N DOWNLOADING BACKBONE!"

But I can't find the place on their site where
I can send in my pocket lint. Darn.
And they don't mention tv?
The E-X theme was pulled not the Aqua and Aqua-X themes or whatever they are called (the one you linked to).

How about Enlightenment without gnome? Not everyone runs Enlightenment with gnome.
Are they listed from most nominated to least nominated
to abstain or what?
Ummm, q3 for linux has been out for several months now.

You mean Howard Stern? Hey! Don't make fun of him, he is my role model. >:)
Ohh, cool. I would personally like to know how he went about bribing Rob and Jeff to have them promote such a crook.
