    If this can be used to decide to ABORT a child then this is a bad idea.

    gene markers that could be used to decide that a child needs to be aborted

    1 wrong gender
    2 not smart enough
    3 not athletic enough
    4 wrong eye/hair color
    5 not "pretty enough"
    6 Gay/Not Gay
    7 wrong skin color (bonus reason for Mixed Parents)
    8 Voice not Right
    8 wrong body build

    i could go on but the real Evil would be when gene editing is possible.

    every faith has bits at their core and many faiths have common bits.

    I could see my own church sharing a park with a Wiccan "coven" during a Cookout and that might be easier than sharing with a fellow Baptist Church. (my church as the habit of cleaning up after ourselves).

    The point here is you need to allow some risk to allow a girl to DANCE (and maybe FLY).

    and to stay with the car thing you might want to make sure that the list of the 12 things that engage the self destruct system are in the manual and the small fact that the gearshift is BACKWARDS (and if you push the shifter while its in the normal PARK position thats number 8 on the previous list)

    as far as the Quality of Education part goes i think the HSLDA suggests that you link up with a friendly school to prevent skipping bits (plus they front for any required tests).

    Why not go Whole Hog(warts) and create a system of Sanctuaries.

    1 ID kids that are at risk and Sort them into 1 Missing parent(s) 2 bad parents 3 Broke Parent(s) 4 Abusive parents and then move the kids in Priority Of Need (abuse cases first then Single/Zero parents then intact but bad parents ect)

    2 see if there are any skills in the parents that are needed by The Sanctuary (any Janitors Builders Teachers in the group??)

    3 Go to the local Businesses and solicit Donations

    4 PROFIT!!

    no but it would maybe help if you passed 10+Nth grade geometry (ie actually know what you are trying to teach).

    heck it would be fun if every N school days a person IN A TRADE THAT USES %subject% spent some time in a class showing Application For %topic%.

    Okay Im going to say FLAG ON PLAY.

    First off once you get past the Ignorant Whackadoodles there is a great deal of Science in Creationism (hint if your preacher can reference the Greek/Hebrew then you can start dealing with Science).

    the first couple PicoSeconds of TIME is beyond Science and must be dealt with in Logic.

    Now as to the subject you need either or both of a Good Teacher or Good Materials to run a decent School if you have both you are Golden if you have just one the other must be better enough to correct things. What the problem is we have NEITHER way to many times.

    The biggest problem of the Public Education System is a refusal to Educate the Public In a Systematic way.

    2 makes the plane handle a tad worse

    okay lets try this we have

    KONG: good with breaking things and glaring at other things (plus hes good with heavy lifting)
    MIKE: carpenter/general contractor
    JOHN: electrician
    SAUL: hes a talker and good with arranging "things"
    BOB: pure geek and can throw together networks that are "bullet proof"

    what you do is put them and some supplies in C-130 and fly them out to Randomstan. When they land

    KONG can help with digging trenches and moving stuff around (until he is needed for "other" things. SAUL can talk with the local Important Folks to try to ensure KONG is not needed for "other" things. MIKE and JOHN can do the building stuff. After the Power situation is sorted out BOB can get busy finding out how Bullet Proof his Skillz are (and be tool monkey for MIKE and JOHN).

    (note for those playing KONG: your coworkers don't need any bullet holes)

    The thing is Network providers love installing bundles of " we either got paid for the ap or we get paid when the ap gets used" things so if folks decide to flash vanilla images they get cut out of that money.

    on another note does anybody know (as in has done it themselves) how to flash the recovery image on an HTC thunderbolt that has the latest V firmware?? (im wanting to root it so i can evict the V aps).

    Oh btw i do not want to lose the data so nothing that does a hard reset.

    part of the problem with reporting now a days is they disect every single word somebody says and then try to find the absolute worst "spin" on it.

    personally i would say that having N as the top of the scale is a good idea.

    How else are you going to sort out wrecked a county > counties > state > states levels of hurricane??

    i don't think that there are UAVs in the right weight/price class to actually enable a worker to fall at less than 9.8mps^2 but couldn't a UAV fly the safety line to tie points a bit faster??

    (also could be used when person A is doing something and Person B is running the checklist)

    would this be best done by a bunch of guys driving out and building a MESH or by flying a C-5 galaxy with a Mobile Com station (and a couple companies of "civilian contractors" to help guard the stuff) out to key locations??

  21. this could be approached in 2 directions

    A
    1 everything the camera(s) see gets recorded to a "black box" (which records GPS and performance data ect for the car)
    2 The car can not be certified for service if this system is not operating (no cams no keys) on a daily basis.
    3 the blackbox should have enough storage to allow for say 14 days
    4 in the case of a convenient malfunction any wrong doing by the officers is also charged to the motorpool techs (aiding and abetting...)
    5 all recordings should semi live stream to a LEO server (officer not in car dash cam goes live)

    B
    1 when an incident happens if the recording is not available it should be assumed that the recording was deliberately lost
    2 if the recording shows evidence that the officer was not in the wrong the case should be thrown out and the records sealed

    2 if a reasonable search can not determine the correct copyright holder then it can be assumed the work is abandoned*
    3 claiming copyright on a work shall have a penalty of the greater of75% of the penalty for breaking copyright or The Full and Complete Damages (to include salary for the lawyers, lost income, court costs and the tips for the delivery guy(s))
    4 without an actual physical signed (in black or dark blue ink) contract to do so Legal Firms are forbidden from any type of copyright enforcement unless the Firm is otherwise on retainer for THAT PARTICULAR CLIENT

    *any abandoned work is to be considered Public Domain and reasonable search must include a search for the known copyright owners (or the estates thereof)
