Good thing I was on probation. The company treated me like shit they wanted to take my UNIX (Sun box) away from me and replace it with a Windows 2000 system and they gave no insentive to stay, they fired me due to their politics besides, my job had a high turnover rate.
I used to work for UUNET in the country north of the USA and they were beginning to phase our our UNIX systems. i did not like that. im glad im not there anymore. They gave no insentive to stay even. I was in their network support dept.
XFree86 Version 4.0.99.1 / X Window System
(protocol Version 11, revision 0, vendor release 6510)
Release Date: 19 February 2001
If the server is older than 6-12 months, or if your card is newer than the above
date, look for a newer version before
reporting problems.
(See http://www.XFree86.Org/FAQ)
Operating System: Linux 2.4.3-pre3 i586 [ELF]
Module Loader present
This is the latest XFree86 but it's cvs sources, so, 4.1.0 isn't ready just yet. ---
There's a difference though. We don't want the Linux kernel to get 'polluted' with closed-source, non-GPL licensed modules.
:)
When you load a module thats not GPL, you taint the Linux Kernel, and you loose support from LKML because its not our problem
Unfortunately. I don't care about M$ and it's products. I will fully support any Open source project reguardless of any petty M$ license.
If M$ wants to sue me cause I use Samba bring it on.
No problems with this kernel pre release :)

Think about it, if Micro$oft is pulling Java from IE, etc then Mozilla will gain popularity. Some people need java and Mozilla provides this.
