Nah, porno can allegedly be found for free these days.

  3. As for why paper, paper doesn't need power. You can hang it anywhere and it's always ready. I doubt the station has outlets every 6'.

On the ISS, paper does need power. If there's no power, there's no light to read the paper, and soon enough no alive humans to read it either. Reliable (and redundant) power is a big thing up there.

  4. If I'm not the President or an entertainer, then no one cares if your account is deleted.

See, that's one of the things they don't have an abundance of on the ISS. While the price isn't that important, because it's likely a pittance compared to what it costs to get it up there.

But my question is what do they really need to print on the ISS? I'd think a tablet would serve most of the needs.

I don't see that claim at all? I see a claim that to get an HPV infection of the type hat this vaccine would help prevent, it's almost always due to unprotected sex. That's a very different thing from what you claim was written. LTFR.

Why? Despite what you say, you didn't do it either, except in your mind. There are no numbers on HPV cases caused by rape.

It's not data that's easy to gather. You have to find men and women who:
1: Were tested for HPV 16/18 and found free.
2: Had no consensual sex nor were vaccinated.
    3: Were raped.
5: Were tested for HPV 16/18 again and found either
    a) Having the virus, or
    b) Not having the virus.

These data do not currently exist.

    Unlike you?

You carry a form of HPV because itÃ(TM)s a normal thing to have

Not the kinds that this vaccine helps against, HPV 16 and 18, which are types of HPV that's almost entirely sexually transmitted. You most assuredly did not have those on your fingers in your youth. Well, unless you grew up in a very special family...

The vaccine is useful because people, and especially teens do have unprotected sex. Increased availability and use of condoms would help against these as well as many other VDs, and you wouldn't be caught with your pants down, so to speak, when there's a shortage of the vaccine.

  13. SRSLY? Your examples require blocking of viewers, not ads. Do you think that a Nazi is somehow not capable of looking at your ads, or that the Duggar's won't ever see an ad for condoms?

I am not a binary thinker, and do not think everything has to be black or white, win or lose, success or failure. I think a reduction in exposure to unwanted audiences is a worthwhile thing in itself, even if only partially effective.

  14. Which is the real problem. It's retarded to think people will associate you with the video content, it's obvious you're just advertising on the site as a whole.

The problem isn't just associations, but that you may have an objection to advertising to particular group. If I sell Nordic clothing, I may have a real objection to neo-nazis even seeing my ads and buying my products. If I sell condoms, I may have a real objection to my ads being shown on channels which will cause a barrage of hateful mail and phone calls.

I think the advertisers should be able to choose, but I think they should be provided with enough information to make informed choices. Overly broad classifications do not seem all that useful.

  15. Politics is one controversial category. Religion is another.
It's fine to flag those, but they need to be distinguished. One advertiser might be fine with political controversy, but don't want to be associated with religious views. Another might be the opposite.
And I think they should have an informed choice where they put their advertising dollars.
But that means finding out exactly why people found it controversial, and not just that.

Condoms give even better protection. Also against pregnancy.

There are two main ways you get HPV and most other VDs: Screwing strangers without protection, or being in a partnership with someone who screws strangers without protection.
If the first, you're an idiot, If the second, you're a cuckold idiot.

Before complaining about how condoms are a chore or don't feel as good, look at a few pictures of the results of VDs. Being that this is human genitalia, the most powerful germ spreader in the world, and would putrefy your dick head clean off, you've got to ask yourself one question: "Do I feel lucky?" Well, do ya, punk?

The vaccine can be useful in preventing teen infections, when hormones take over and Southern politicians make it difficult for them to get safe prophylactics, and idiot parents make it shameful. Believing your kids will be abstinent unless they're ugly is as stupid as believing in talking bushes. But in most cases, I have little sympathy for those who catch VDs, because condoms provide a fairly good protection.

  17. What's inconsiderate is to not pay your employees enough to not rely on gratuities.

  20. What benefit does nicotine bring? As you're fond of conclusions supported by research, please provide citations.

I have never made a claim that nicotine brings any benefit, which is presumably why you ask. So why should I provide a citation for that?

You, however, have made a claim that continued nicotine use is harmful and need to back that up, or be man enough to abandon your position as indefensible.

  21. Imagine for a moment, a parasite which causes the host discomfort until supplied with a particular substance. Each moment, the host is given the choice to tolerate the discomfort and starve the parasite out or to feed and strengthen it. As it grows it requires increased feeding or promises increased discomfort.

Non sequitur. The bacteria in your intestines and on your skin are parasites, and you get severe discomfort if they are removed.

It is a good to be free from influences to one's daily routine which serve only to reinforce that influence. To be free is good.

Why? Are there any scientific studies corroborating that idea?

I think you're jumping to conclusions here. Whenever you find yourself thinking "well, obviously" take two steps back and re-examine the premises, because it may neither be obvious nor true.

  22. My bet is that lobbying from the tobacco industry is responsible for this crackdown on ecigs.

I put the blame squarely on the "cloud chasers" - the inconsiderate arseholes who make it their quest to generate as big clouds of vapor as possible, wherever possible. By their actions and lack of consideration, they taint all the misting device users. It's the cloud chasers that stick to the legislators' memories, not the guy who discreetely inhales enough to get a fix and doesn't bother anyone.
Ban any e-liquid with more than 20% VG and devices that go over 20W, and it'll cease to be seen a problem.

  23. Uhh.. giving up nicotine altogether is good for them.

That's an unsubstantiated assumption. There are to my knowledge no studies that show that people who quit nicotine fare better than those who continue to use nicotine, whether it be through patches, gum, mist devices or other non-smoking means.
The only documented bad effect of nicotine alone that I can find, apart from allergic reactions and overdoses, is an increased risk of birth defects for nicotine using pregnant women. So it should be on the rather long list of things pregnant women should avoid.
This should be weighed (no pun intended) against the average 10 lb weight gain when quitting nicotine versus shifting to non-smoking nicotine.

  24. I do not need nor want help keeping me safe from myself.

I do. At the very least I want either a ban on harmful additives, or even better, regulation requiring sellers to state all additives, including subcomponents. I.e. not just "flavors" if one of the flavors is brominated toluol and another is turpentine. (This regulation needs to apply to cigarettes too, where it is sorely lacking. Does the tobacco lobby still have that much clout?)
Similarly, devices that contain nickel should state so, so people with allergies can make an informed choice. Currently, they are at the mercy of the manufacturers good will, which doesn't exist.

The Wild West with no regulation and only bans on public use does not serve the customers. It's a tad too late to sue after you develop cancer or go into anaphylactic shock.
