  1. More like impossible on FCC Chairman Tom Wheeler Says Switching ISPs Is Too Hard · · Score: 1

Just as the brief says, it's usually a monopoly in the area. For broadband service it's not hard for me to switch, it's impossible. There is no one else to switch to.

my guess is that adbloc isn't really an issue (unless firefox and chrome make it a default plugin).

Like Google would ever make AdBlock a default on chrome. Ad revenue is still their largest revenue source.

When a big company looses money, they don't react by cutting their services. They adapt by changing their product and cutting their costs internally. The postal service has a huge amount of work to do internally.

  7. No More Line Between Tablet & Laptop on Microsoft Surface Pricing Goes Toe-to-Toe With Apple iPad · · Score: 2

I feel like this is the first product that finally removes the line. Even the best tablets before this didn't run the same OS and a laptop or desktop, and while the RT may be argued to not remove that difference, the Pro does. Not that the keyboard will be as good or the experience the same, but the product has finally arrived that removes the line. You can now install the same program file to your desktop, laptop, or tablet.

  9. Re:shocker on Mastercard Denies Plans For BitCoin Credit Card · · Score: 1

Not 1 single bitcoin user would have gone for such a product. This story had fake written all over it from the beginning.

This is dead wrong!!! Many Bitcoin users would be all over this as Bitcoin is not accepted at many places and this would be a very simple way of transferring the money and spending it.
