to be due to the plugin-container.exe, which turns into an extreme CPU hog over-time, showing up way-high in the (windows) CPU consuming processes. (I do tend to open a lot of tabs and generate a lot of history.) (I used to have serious memory issues as well, which were greatly improved by doubling+ up to about 4+ Gig.) Is this a related or separate issue? I don't believe I am using an inordinate amount of plugins, just the standard ones.
'this effort is "part of the recent policy of the Islamic Republic, which tries to return women to the private domain inside the home as it cannot tolerate their passionate presence in the public arena,"'
That term "passion" is able to be construed fairly broadly. I'll simply say that some behaviors I've encountered which might be termed "passionate" don't always seem entirely productive.
Well, at least some conservative d- who typically deny evolution are in the best position to deny rape as a presumed evolutionary adaptation.
However, from an evolutionary standpoint, there is no basis to deny the efficacy of rape regarding impregnation. This type of trait (ie. rape/aggression) quintessentially typifies normal natural "fitness".
At the low level, design is akin to implementation. At the high level it is akin to a "rounded wheels" specification. Other high level examples: clickable icons; mobile, resizable windows (able to contain icons, etc.), etc.
Patents were originally brought about to safeguard the motivations for innovation. Patents of high-level design don't safeguard them. The eradicate them. Again, not the what (ie. high level design), only the how ((low level) implementation).
One should never be able to patent the what (eg. gui appearance/behavior), only the how (eg. specific implementation). Thus, it was right that Apple lost its MS suit, though they were the superior company (at that time).
efficient marketing strategies ever devised: simply convince someone who doesn't know anything that they actually know something.
A great illustration of this was the old commercial for the Goodyear Arriva tires. They had some funky, swirly tread pattern, which, though it reduced the contact area by perhaps close to 50%, gave the observer the impression of a certain shape and channels to move water away. They had great shots of subjects explaining this using "whooshing" hand gestures. I don't recall the tires having stayed around that long, but I don't doubt that they at least paid for their not insubstantial marketing campaign.
requiring completion of a good series of labs. I found the offerings at De Anza College (Cupertino, CA) to be great, and I believe they have on-line/remote available.
If you cannot find something like this, you will be left to your own resourcefulness. Sounds like some good recommendations for Khan Academy python. I might recommend web or the mobile apps some folks suggested over gaming. That gaming stuff can be pretty grueling. Start with HTML, then some php or python and javascript.
I feel like programming helped to remedy some of my own ADHD. Don't give up. Give it time and it can suck you in!:)
This is like half of all little kids saying they want to be astronauts. Talk about winning the lottery! This is just academia's old saw to market itself and it's nothing but snake oil.
arts school it was taught through the psych department, which seems to be where this over-flow really should go, unless they are stretched even thinner than your dept.
In answer to your question, you would probably NOT be teaching the derivation of stat formulas, but only the application of stat formulas to test cases, with insights about experimental design, certainty, etc (which is why someone research in the field is best suited to this type of course).
...seems to be unnecessary flame-mongering. As I recall stuxnet was brought to a isolated (as any such industrial control system should be) intranet using an infected pen-drive.
Bottom line, if your network contains anything of critical state importance, don't connect it to anything.
...break on the tuition. If the student is good enough to merit the scholarship, they should be likewise desirable to the enrolling institution, such that the institution affords them a break. If, rather, the prestigious institution prefers to continue to graduate rich dolts, let them, and see how long their reputation holds out.
...encryption. If "spying" on the contents would permanently alter the contents, thus it "unbreakable", wouldn't also reading the contents do so, (making them unreadable)?
The main cause of stroke is high blood pressure. They should phrase it "sleep dep increases blood pressure". I guess they get more media bang for the buck if they say stroke.
"A computer program is instructions for a machine."
First, they should generally understand the nature of the endeavor.
Executing a computer program is like navigating a maze. You (ie. "flow of execution") move through its paths, taking detours (changing course) based on the state of values (ie. content of variables). The only way to definitively know the state of values (ie. to debug) at any point is to print them to the screen. This is like your program sending up a smoke signal, flare, or radio beacon.
...worrying about chemistry, if the kid can't read. Get him some competent, intensive reading tutoring immediately. I encountered a kid who couldn't read in a freshman chem lab I once taught. I couldn't have been more aghast if he'd just stepped out of a space ship.
I guess the school pupils who can't read somewhat redeem the homeschools that can't read, but all those responsible should all be ashamed.

Sounds like you could use it your self.
I smoke two joints in time of peace and two in time of war.
I smoke two joints before I smoke to joints and then I smoke two more!
Could be illegitimate if the accusation is fraudulent.

I see. thx.
...predictive potential, that is, the rates of radioactive material decay changes before the solar flare occurs? That sounds completely outlandish!

Certainly the weakest "issue" I can recall seeing in a good, long time.
