    teleprompter was the solution, but there are no teleprompters in our area, and renting one from Los Angeles or San Francisco - both hundreds of miles away - was impractical and beyond my budget.

    Renting is no good when you have to drive 200 miles round trip to rent+haul it.

    In the story it mentions that this could be a ploy by ICANN to get funds to keep control away from the ITU (remember that U.N. Org that wants control).

    I may hate ICANN and think they all need shot, but they're hell of a lot better then letting the ITU run things.

    It was temporary. The instated it, then discontinued it for a bit, then they re-instated it.

    But you're wanting them to hire somebody to make a website so it 'looks good' ? it looks fine to me, it presents the information in an easily read and navigable format.

    Well the thing is this.

    If somebody uses GPS to attack the US, we can quickly degredate GPS resolution in the area.

    With Gallileo on the other hand, good luck getting the ruling body (by the people, for the people) to agree quick enough for it to make a difference.

    They're not adding Vorbis because the iPod couldn't handle the decoding AND playback at the same time. They'll just release Movie iPod next for another $800 instead of adding wanted features to wanted devices.
