I dunno about hardwiring to the brain yet:) but I DO WANT more immersion in games.
I sick and tired of playing finger twister on the keyboard (which isnt a Kanji one btw:) ) for the games we have today. We can use natural gestures for controlling (as in Black and White).
We have the hardware to do it TODAY.
Bring on the immersive games.
(And no more Terridactyle Nightmare on the migi's:))

I belive in the KISS methodology (Keep It Simple Stupid) why increase difficulty and adoption with complexity? Remember, there are also accessability issues to solve.
So much for the apparently non intrusive and easy internet product activation;D (except on roadrunner:)
heh

my solution to that is clear the cookie cache. Log in, then BLOCK every cookie under P3 settings in the browser and u can still login until the cookie expires;D the repeat;D
If you want tight storage and quick retrieval, why dont you save it in a spreadsheet? Excel or whatever? No DB overhead, data remains as tables (sheets) etc.
erm wots funny? Reflection is a class discovery mechanism. This way you could create a class at runtime then invoke the methods by using reflection and thus have self modifying code.
Yeah and secure. Imagine if it gets loose :)
:) and onto the street.

Gotta hurt
How about making it into a Hampster ball that u can run or walk in with the image superimposed on the walls of the ball.
Fun without the fear of running into walls
You can have this in your own home :)

To clarify, it is basically tiled windowing over overlapped.
I think the Oberon development environment had the right idea. It was based on window panes rather than overlapping windowing.
I think it is easier to work with and more intuitive.
Wasnt the original version released free?
Monkey Island is already free :P

How does sharing of the disk between each machine on a card affect the performance ?

Ok, so how can this be done in reality, i mean is everybody gonna ring the cops everytime they see a cookie. Surely this is unrealistic.
How would the EU block them? at the ISP level?
my solution to that is clear the cookie cache. Log in, then BLOCK every cookie under P3 settings in the browser and u can still login until the cookie expires ;D the repeat ;D
Well then that would break my Yahell Mail sign in, Slashdot signin, hotmail sign in. What would work without session cookies?
Sure, block illegitimate use of cookies. What other mechanisms do we have? Passport?Does passport use cookies too?
And you need a towercase like this to cool it http://www.clearwatercoolers.com/images/watercoole rs.jpg
.NET applications already do that.
.INI files and regkeys.
appname.exe.config which is XML instead of darn
Basically, use the storage format that best suits your data and operations.
Dont just say a generic response "Oh, lets stick it in a DB"
If you want tight storage and quick retrieval, why dont you save it in a spreadsheet? Excel or whatever? No DB overhead, data remains as tables (sheets) etc.
Databases are also for querying data :P heh
As far as I know, SQL Server is hardware bound. That means, add better hardware on it and u get a perf increase to match.
XML is great for representing data especially manupilating it with the BCLs in C#. Easy as pie.
As with everything DB, DB operations are always more expensive than any other storage operations.
DB operations are always the performance bottlenecks of any server system.
The only real way to improve on that is to partition the DB and clustering.

What if they suddenly tell you "Oh, there you are. You have a company presentation in 5 mins... come with me..." erm oO(OH SHIT) :)
