If you had half a brain, and had actualy *read* the BSD license you would see that you can redistribute the code or binarys however you want. I could take the sum total of the BSD code and put it under the GPL, or sell a propritary version. "Subtle mind control? Why do all these HTML buttons say 'Submit' ?"

aperantly, I think Red hat just wanted to do the right thing, and earn some good karma with the open source movment, but E*trade really screwed up. What really sucks is that Red Hat didn't do anything wrong at all (exsept for make the terms that E*trade was going to opperate on a little clearer) "Subtle mind control? Technically, we are all 'completely "animal" monkeys'. There are two possible reasons that we humans are the only ones left from our ascent up the evolutionary ladder, that we killed all of them, or that we just interbred. When you have sexual reproduction, lest desirable traits can be removed very quickly. In other words, we just fucked our way to the top:)
Also, none of the other great Apes are geneticaly compatable with us, but we don't compete for the same niches, so there is no problem (although some fo the great apes are in danger of extintion now) "Subtle mind control? Why do all these HTML buttons say 'Submit' ?"
That's not a great explanation. If the halfway-man-halfway-apes were starved to death, skeletons should probably have been left behind. If they were eaten, then of course bone evidence might be more lacking, since the after-meal bones would probably get strewn about. Still, there should be something left behind. Ah, questions, questions . . .
There *are* bones remaining for 'half ape, half human' astrolopiticine, homo erectus, neaderthals. Plese get a clue before posting. "Subtle mind control? Why do all these HTML buttons say 'Submit' ?"

Personaly, I fail to see what diffrence an OS would make as far as graphics. Remember, were talking about *non-realtime* rendering, and stuff like photoshop. I bet this means an end to any SGI - Microsoft collaboration, look's like Open GL will be the domonant Graphics API. I guess this is good news for John Carmack:)
I wonder how this will pan out for SGI, but it certanly bodes well for Linux users. "Subtle mind control? Why do all these HTML buttons say 'Submit' ?"

I don't know, unless you've got a kickass home theater, it might suck. small screen, less overwhelming. My sister saw an ASF file of the movie before she saw it in the theater, and it probably made it suck for her (she knew what was going to happen in the theater, and the ASF file looked like crap). But, VHS isn't that bad.
I would recomend seeing it in a theater, Even thogh it isn't an FX epic, it would still look better. Plus it rackets up BWPs box office take. Vote with your dollars:) "Subtle mind control? Why do all these HTML buttons say 'Submit' ?"

IE 3 was pretty bad, it didn't support tables, witch really sucked, I don't think anyone really used it. 4.0 was better then anything netscape as ever done, period. infact I only upgraded to 5.0 about a week ago. (I don't notice much of a diffrence between 4 and five, exsept for offline browsing).
The only reason IE is ahead is beacuse of AOL, if they swaped IE for netscape, netscape would have over 50% of the market share.
I still use both IE and netscape (4.0 and 5 as well as netsape 4.06, I hear netscape 4.6 really sucks) "Subtle mind control? Why do all these HTML buttons say 'Submit' ?"

. I wrote an ActiveX control this year which draws into a bitmap and then bit-blits onto the screen. This dramatically reduces flicker.
You needed an active X control for that?? what the fuck? talk about software bloat. You can easyly get a GDI device context for a CBitmap, and draw to that. then use one GDI call to blit that to the CPaintDC or whatever (if you're using MFC). I can't imagen why you'd need to use Active X.... "Subtle mind control? Why do all these HTML buttons say 'Submit' ?"
