    Real programmers didn't have editors. If we wanted to change a line in an Applesoft Basic program we either had to type it over or 'List' the line press ESC and up arrow to the line.

    It has been years since I read it, and I have no link, but ISTR that the brain does some additional processing when speaking to someone who is not physically present. The visual cortex attempts to imagine the person you are talking to (even if subconsiously), which takes some processing power from scanning and processing driving conditions.

    If it's true that a particular meat substitute has no nutritional value, then it would function much like tofu - as texture and filler for a dish, with the nutrition coming from the extra vegetables. You'd have to have actual meat from time to time to avoid, eg, vitamin B and iron problems, or stuff your meals full of spinach and beans. :)

    Or drink homebrewed beer and enjoy the yeast, and cook your food in a cast iron pan.

    Ugh, I can't believe I just helped the vegetarian nutters...
