    Exactly with the yougov thing. I'm sure only those 1000 people voted in the poll. It wasn't culled for bias or anything.

    I'm sure hundreds (if not thousands) of people have died for this exact thing. The difference is they died for it, and were never heard of. You can't defend your actions when you're dead.

    - putting his name to it before he was in a safe jurisdiction
    Couldn't that have damaged his credibility? Also it could have given the USA time to wipe out any records of him.
    - putting out a video interview before he was safely out of view with Lasik, dark hair and a clean shave.
    Wouldn't doing the interview after changing your appearance be really really stupid? Wouldn't that completely defeat the purpose?

    For gaming I strongly prefer the old school 4:3. I like bigish screens in the neighborhood of 24". I had an asus VE series that was 24.6 inches and I'm close enough to my screen that it screwed with my peripharies. It was close enough and big enough that I think the edges were outside my "active" cone of vision.
    It also just appeals to me a lot more in general. Maybe I'm just used to the square...but I like it better.

    I'm using a TV from the RGB HD era...couldn't find anything in 4:3 with a res this high.

    Most people use dreamhost, hostgator (I think that's the name), asmallorange or godaddy. I'm willing to bet that makes up 95+% of *domain registration* (not hosting), and none of them offer a free whois privacy service. On a side note I've never had a comment voted up and down this many times.

    Unfortunately the downvoters won, but for the reason (overrated) which I'm okay with.

    Which is so much different than the extortion game known as "private registration." Pay us or we put all your personal info (including address!) Into an extremely accessible, public system.

    This is the same thing as always, but now the cost burden is on the requestor instead of the proprietor.

    The worst pollution offenders in China are a LOT worse than here. The "bad ones" have probably been responsible for more deaths than Timothy Mcveigh (sp?) So the "worst offenders" probably deserve it. Look up the blue river sometime...
