Your friend may own 40 semi-automatic rifles, but I doubt he owns 40 automatic or select fire rifles.
Nope, all autos and select fire. I actually reload ammo for him. That number doesn't include shotguns, Mosin Nagants, and pistols either. Once a week he and his wife purchase something in larger quantities for storage. One week it was TP. The next it was water. So on and so forth. He's a "prepper" for sure.
And the best way to afford to live in a low crime area is to be rich. So if the poor are unsafe, they should become rich! They can become rich by not wasting their money on bread and just eat cake!
I make 17k a year. Our last murder here was in the 80s.
Automatic firearms are not banned, but you need a $3000 dollar tax and the guns themselves cost upwards of $6000, plus it can take months to get through the licensing process.
Ehhhhh, not sure on that. I don't own any automatic firearms, but I have friends that own upwards of over forty 7.62 rifles. No licensing or permits required. Just went down to the local shop and bought them. This is in NH and I know the laws vary from state to state.
People are so quick to ban this and ban that. Why not go to the root problem? Proper storage and respect for the weapons? If you are a gun owner, make your children aware of what they are capable of. They need to respect these tools. I have a four year old at the house. He knows not to go into the reloading room; which is locked. He doesn't know where the keys to my safes are. He knows that I have a gun on me at all times when we go out. I don't think he knows where I hide my gun out of reach when we go to bed.
The root of these problems occur with bad parenting. But people refuse to blame themselves for their problems, so they need a scapegoat.
Instead of people taking responsibility for their actions, let's blame something else! Its the high cap magazines! No! Its video games! No! Its movies! Its all guns! Its assault rifles! Its the Democrats! Its the Liberals!
For fucks sake, talk to your kids. Teach them hobbies. Show them from right and wrong. If they have mental issues, sort them out. Take the proper precautions like locking up weapons they may use to hurt themselves and others. I have a four year old at my house. The Mossberg is locked up separately from the ammo. My handgun is in a place he can't reach. When he gets a few years older he will be taught the guns are, at least where I live, a way of life. We all open carry. We reload our ammo. We go to the range often. Teach them the responsibility of owning a firearm. It all start with the parenting.
Eh, it was alright. My last FPS game was CS 1.6. So I'm really rusty. My system is outdated too with a Q6600, 8800GTS, and 4gb of DDR2. I have FPS issues with the larger fights. My experience is much like someone else had with the being killed from somewhere by a larger gun. Really chaotic. No real idea what I'm supposed to be doing. I had 45 deaths and 3 kills last night. I've been on a GW2 kick the past month.
For free I'll leave it on the system. I'm slowly gathering parts for a new build; i5, 680, 16gbDDR3 etc. Maybe with that I'll get more enjoyment out of it. meh
I, for one, would give up the right to bear arms for everyone, and not miss it.
You are a disgrace to this country. I have weapons to protect myself and my family. No matter what the law states, criminals will always, always have weapons. Someone breaks into your home what do you do? Ask them politely to leave?
We need to illuminate the importance of guns to protect one another. What if there were a guard or even a teacher that was properly trained in firearms? Casualties would have been a LOT less.
I can't believe you'd not miss the right to bear arms. Probably the most unamerican statement I've heard. Absolute disgrace.
I was there when that happened. Man, the two of them were PISSED when they were leaving. Several people were causing drama saying there might be someone with a firearm. It was dumb. It really wasn't anything that spectacular. 5m later everything was back to normal. Never crossed my mind this would make this big of a headline. Huh, small world.
I have two Associates degrees and I found it easier than high school. I also have two Bachelors of Science degrees as well. Harder, yes, but nothing too drastic. I mean, I was still able to commit to gaming on a daily basis. Weekends were filled with four wheeling, wrenching, fishing, and spending time with friends.Finals week was pretty much the only time I had to set time aside to accomplish my work.
IMHO, in today's standards an Associates degree is nothing. I think the time you put in could be better off used by saving funds, starting a business, or establishing your career at an earlier age. I only see and Associate's degree useful if you intend on extending your education to at least Master's degree.
Naw, I think I'll just end this here. You post a screenshot, I see the image, I host it across a few boards, and there's your image on the web.
My initial point was that whatever goes out there cannot be guaranteed to be gone forever. Like calling your boss a douche out loud in the office. No matter how many times you try to take it back or wish you hadn't said it, there's no knowing how many people heard you say it and how many people those people have told others. Its out there. Its been done. Can't take it back. I see posting something on Facebook, Twitter, forums or/. . Its out there. And who knows where it will end up.

A lot of folks load their shells with rock salt. Criminals don't know that and it hurts like hell when they get hit.
Guns are plenty safe just as they are.
It takes a human to make them unsafe.
Excellent post. Post of the day.

And the name of the asteroid is Dottie.
Along with their "Bushwhacker" assault rifles.

Anything over that would be considered an Assault Car? Or do they need aggressive features like spoilers and drilled rotors?
They can't be variations of black or grey either.
Death by unga bunga.
+1 to you good sir.
Only allow cars with a GVW under 1300lbs. No gas tank larger than four gallons.
We should make a country wide movement to ban cars. Or at least limit the amount the gas tank can hold.

Hehe, that's funny because I also have "Liberty Or Death" also on my truck. =]
Yep. I live in NH and I have that slogan painted on the tailgate of my truck. *insert banjo sound here*

Its like a Twisted Metal 2 flashback.
Doesn't LA have an hourly death toll? Iunno, I live up north in the woods. Last murder here was 1982. >.>
I'd be much more worried getting lost in a place like South Central LA.
You tube (streaming some off road Jeep JK trail runs that I'd like to try (no Audio))
Nice. I'm taking my linked Samurai out tomorrow.
Other than that, I have nothing else to offer to this discussion.
No, but you're probably one of the bot-aspiring AFK miners.
Mining and Hauling. Not one macro. All legit. I actually do a lot of exploration as well. =]
