I agree. If you think your buying a product on kickstarter you are diluting yourself. Your helping a project, that IF successful might weild you a reward based upon your contribution.
I think it reasonable to assume they may have made it clear to him that if his statement contain certain... lets say conditions, such as apologies for harming america, that it would have effect. What they really want is for potential "mannings" to be scared.
Is this a surprise? America is crap for science core skills like critical thinking. A good part of our population is not even sure that "science is real" and "is just as fallible as any belief".
I love my reprap prusa i3, but it and other 3d printers including the makerbot require constant tuning, leveling, tightening, etc to print anything of quality. The base consumer market just does not have the skills or patience to learn for what available now
Microsoft still operates as if people have no other options. This is part of their entire scheme right now. They have stated they want to add ads to both xbox 1 and windows 8, go as far to say as they were built with ad delivery in mind.
If we have a right, the government can not just claim "saftey first!" and subjugate that right, just because they say. If they can then we never had any rights to begin with and we have a larger problem
If you read / watch all the info you will see they used a special printer that provides greater than normal structure to its 3d models. I am waiting for someone to try this on a home extruder. I don't think it is going to go well. I'm sure the one armed man will be on the news soon.
