    I'm in Richmond now, however I was in Newport News for Isabel a while back. Lost power for 15 days and a tree fell on my house after being struck by lightning. Andrew, Floyd, and Irene though, were heavily overstated.

  4. I believe the reason parents are so outraged, for those questioning why, is the good old idiom "give someone an inch and they will take it a mile."
    It may start out as harmless attendance tracking, but where does it progress from there?

    Start tracking early, evolve the tracking process, people won't complain as it evolves if they are used to it.

    "Corporations are people" originated so lawsuits could be filed against them and they could file lawsuits. People these days use that phrase too often as an argument against Republicans. If corporations weren't "people" they really would have free reign. Just throwing that little fact out there.

    To further invalidate the argument Google's targeting in Android can also be disabled. There's no advantage or disadvantage between iOS and Android as far as ad targeting is concerned.

    Also, your sig, I have that beautiful little piece of Bash printed out and posted in my cubicle. It provides some great entertainment when some poor soul actually decides to run it. It's also fantastic for weeding out poorly informed techs.

    In my opinion it's not the government's place to control citizens diet choices. Seems extremely out of line for the government to even seek THAT much control over the average citizen's lifestyle choices.
