No, that title belongs to Battlefield Earth. Event Horizon had the great idea of dealing with the "nothingness" in-between jump points, but they chose to go with a horror theme for that and that's what ruined it for most of us. Still a great sci-fi/horror movie, because horror movies don't have to make any sense.
This is more useful to cops, military and armed security who have guns issued to them rather than owning them - making sure their weapons don't get to the black market or used by enemies without some technical rework.
I'm sorry guys, we just stole a whole truck of guns that were on their way to the LAPD, but it's illegal to hack them so we can't sell them to you.
The fingerprint reader in Apple devices is not a photo scanner, stop spreading FUD and go read the complete article about the guys who were able to copy a fingerprint to fool the reader. It took much more than a simple photo, it took something that you might see on mission impossible.
The original iphone was 320 x 480. They went retina by doubling it - 640 x 960. No problem, you provide 2x images.
Your comprehension of basic geometry sucks, straight up. There are 5th graders who are laughing at you.
There's no error in 320*2=640 and 480*2=960. If you knew anything about coding, you would know that so-called "retina" images are usually named with "@2x" to denote the double resolution in width and height. Of course it means four times as many pixels, but they're called "2x" anyway, even in the Apple guidelines and documentations.
Paint color -> e-ink color. There's no matrix involved to address individual pixels, so I don't know why this hasn't happened yet. Maybe not with cars, but at least with phone back shells, etc.
Or websites with a huge branding logo, a photo of the author and 50 banners on the page but zero photo of what they're talking about, like the Internet is a text-only medium. What a joke.
Them: Hello, this is Microsoft. We have detected a problem with your computer. Me: Really? And you're calling to help me? Them: Yes of course. Do you see your "start" button? Me: No I don't see any "start" button. Them: It's in the lower left corner. Me: I have a button in the upper left corner that says "OS/2 Warp" Them: Asshole. (hangs up)
An optimist is someone who falls off the Empire State Building, and after 50 floors says, 'So far so good! - Unknown.
As opposed to what? Pictures of red rocks that are still alive?
Do you think buddhism is some kind of diet? Or should that have been a period after buddhist?

One of the best science-fiction movie ever made, if you stop watching before it all goes to hell.
What is this? A spaceship for ANTS?!
You know what else would be an extremely useful tool for home-defense? ED 209. The voice recognition sucks, but the firepower is awesome.

Forget guns, sell the technology to Samsung.

I think he's been staying home for the last decade or so.
A robot OS has to be able to control multiple tentacles simultaneously otherwise the Japanese won't use it.
I don't see the need for a Robot Operating System anyway. Wouldn't it be more efficient to write everything in assembly since there's only one Data?
Too bad it never stopped anyone before.

Also known as the Sony strategy.

I didn't see any slowdown on that day.
Posted from my 2400bps modem.
Is that you?
I agree, Windows is an excellent gaming OS. But when I work, I want OS X on my desk and Linux on my server.
What does it sound like when it's bored?
No, that's the sound produced by a single molecule.

They do? In that case, we apologize.
