Just because a lock is weak doesn't give you the right to break it and enter the place. That argument wouldn't stand in court for physical access, stop deluding yourself that you have the "right" to access WEP-secured networks.
But who do you throw in jail? The employees who are directly responsible for their actions, or their boss in his office who approved the work to be done, or the CEO at the top who did not care about the ecological danger?
I updated an old Pentium II Thinkpad with a 512MB compactflash with an IDE adapter. It takes longer to power-up the laptop and go through the BIOS bootup sequence than to load Windows 98SE.
