I would love to get those texts as I am walking out to my car, stopped at a light, or when I am stopped in a traffic jam or when I am riding as a passenger in the car. The problem is that too many people will try to read them while driving. I don't buy the idea it is no different that looking down at your radio. If you have to read your radio then you have issues. Really folks keep your eyes on the road. Even messing with the radio should be limited to when you are stopped. I could make an exception for the radio on a mostly empty interstate since the odds of running into anybody are slime to none but even that opening leaves too much wiggle room I fear.
I agree with in reason. The big race to thinner and thinner is just nuts. Like I said two mm would probably give a good increase in battery life and would you really notice the difference. This is a case of style over function.
I have an even easier solution. Make them a few mm thicker. Really for some really odd reason there seems to be a race to thin at all cost. I would trade two mm for more battery life.

They are no more of a waste than any other hobby. Think of all the poor people that could get food if all the money "wasted" on video games was used to feed the poor? Or the money wasted on cable TV? Just because it isn't your hobby doesn't mean that it lacks value. Actually you should go to a custom car show and take a look at the craftsmanship that goes into one of those cars. Well let me give you an example of a lie. Michel Moore in one of his movies filmed the outside of a factory that produces the Titan III rocket. In the movie he claims that it produces weapons of mass destruction just like the ones we invaded Iraq to find. The Titan III was never used as a weapon system. It is used to launch satellites. It has been used to launch spy satellites but also communications, and even space probes to Mars and the outer planets. The Titan II was uses as a weapon system but was retired back in the 80s and many where then converted to launch satellites. What Moore said was a lie. He found a factory that made big rockets and called them weapons of mass destruction. A flat out lie. So should his movies be banned? I don't think so. Or two NPR stories I heard one day about 17 year old boys being drafted to fight a war in Africa followed by a story about 15 and 16 year old women's rights to abortion. If you don't see the bias please read it again. Should they be shut down for slanting the news? You see that is the problem with censoring political speech. I don't watch FOX news because there news is 90% opinion shows and I hate people telling me how to think even if I agree with them. In fact the people telling you opinions that are close to what you agree with are the most dangerous! Those are the ones that can fool you.
Yes don't trust any talking head. In fact if you think the talking head is telling you the truth then triple check because they are the ones that will trick you.
And my opinion on health care just for the record since that is the big hot button right now is this.

I wouldn't. You still have the engines, cab, sensors, and so on. I doubt they are going to use a lot RAM on this thing plus you can always use optical tracking. In day light it will be pretty big. However I don't see man portable systems being a real threat anytime soon.
I wouldn't be so sure it is "climate" change.
Weather does have cycles and anytime anything bad happens they blame climate change.
I live in South Florida and we got hit by three hurricanes in two years. It had been many years since we had gotten hit. Those years where really bad years for storms and everybody screamed it was Global Warming.
Well since then we have had below average seasons and no storms. Is global warming over?
Actually good meteorologists said that it was part of the natural cycle and had nothing to do with global warming but the news never reported that.
Your issues may be part of climate change but they may not be. I wouldn't go making statments like that with out a lot of proof or else when cycle changes you will have a lot of people saying that there is no global warming.
PS. You guys are burning too much coal. Your per person carbon output is often greater than the US. Build nuclear plants now but that is just a suggestion.
Well let me give you an example of a lie.
Michel Moore in one of his movies filmed the outside of a factory that produces the Titan III rocket.
In the movie he claims that it produces weapons of mass destruction just like the ones we invaded Iraq to find.
The Titan III was never used as a weapon system. It is used to launch satellites. It has been used to launch spy satellites but also communications, and even space probes to Mars and the outer planets.
The Titan II was uses as a weapon system but was retired back in the 80s and many where then converted to launch satellites.
What Moore said was a lie. He found a factory that made big rockets and called them weapons of mass destruction. A flat out lie. So should his movies be banned?
I don't think so.
Or two NPR stories I heard one day about 17 year old boys being drafted to fight a war in Africa followed by a story about 15 and 16 year old women's rights to abortion.

You see that is the problem with censoring political speech. Once you do start letting the goverment decide who is a lieing bum it becomes way too easy to shut down people saying things you don't like to hear.
I hear slanted new stories from every side so they all tend to equal out in the end.
Of course the big problem is way to many people in the US and frankly the world in general know that that the opinions that they agree with are facts and the opinions they don't like are lies.

True but then again this thing will have a long slant range as well. At 20,000 ft it's sensors will have a very long line of site. Well outside of the range of those guns and probably the SA-2.
In a limited theater type war if anybody was to light up one of these with radar I am sure that it would get catch a HARM very quickly.
Think of this as a supplement for the E-3 and the P-3.

Breaking a contract is not the same as breaking a law.
Even that is part of free speech. You are even allowed to say that free speech shouldn't be so free. Or call the President a lair.
The thing is that way to many people don't understand the protections they have under free speech.
Free Speech doesn't mean you can say anything you want and not have consequences. It means that you will not go to jail for voicing your political opinion.
If you make a jerk of your self on TV and the viewers don't want to watch you anymore then yes you can loose your job.
You call your boss names and you can loose your job.
What you will not do is go to jail but their is no law that can or should protect you from being judged for what you say and do.
While I do agree with you we in the US have a much different history than Germany or a lot of other nations in the EU. We didn't have Nazis hunting Jews in our streets. We are lucky that our system has worked so well for us. Germany and the nations of the EU are democracies respect that they have the right to vote and pick the laws that work best for them.
In the last 60 years they have come a long way.
Nope a Nazi flag is in no way illegal in the US. And saying that you are Pro Nazi is not a crime in the US.
You are totally wrong. I can understand your feelings but where do you draw the line. You and I both don't like Nazis but what about the African American groups that say white people are the devil? Should they be banned?

No that is perfectly legal in the US. We call it free speech.
The US believes that all political speech should be protected even if it is nasty and ugly. The idea is that it is better for everybody to be free to make political statements and let the people decide.
Of course we didn't have Hitler so I can see why they Germany feels different. We are not the same nation so what works for the US may not work for Germany. As long as the people have the right to change that law then it is okay.
But you statment show a huge disconnect between what the US thinks of free speech and many other nations.

What I have a problem with is the silly heights that entertainers and sports figures are elevated to by way too many people.
You claim they are your muse but a muse for what? Have you cured any body? Made a great discovery? Greatness should be great and heroes should be heroic. A great teacher can make more a contribution to the world than just about any recording artist with millions of screaming fans.
If you enjoy somebodys work that is nice and there is nothing wrong with that but just don't make the out to be anything but an entertainer and don't confuse them with true greatness. They are tallented and lucky.
