Come back to me when you have a serious effort, which will probably involve legislation, a budget, an actual agency, probably some grant programs, and other tangible steps.
(FTFY)... Yeah! Down with Obama for not taking care of all that!
Did EVERYONE in this country forget elementary school social studies?
I think it's really funny, in the referenced article, that they indicate that Missouri placed first for education reform, but dropped 14 points from the previous year in education. They did a terrific job of reforming their education programs in order to perform far worse.
Maybe this is actual empirical evidence that education truly is a race to the bottom in this country.
By your standard definition, then, do you include gaming consoles, smart TVs, Blu-Ray players, handheld gaming devices such as the DSi or PSP, DVRs, etc?
Yes. There is a WiiU menu option to switch to Wii mode. Once in Wii mode, you access the same online store as the original Wii does. Original Wii discs also come through looking a little clearer, but the tablet portion of the console shuts down.
While you make a valid point, it must be argued that the presence of such things as Angry Birds in combination with a AAA title is what makes something marketable to families. My family has owned a 360 for about a year and a half, and while it was originally purchased for the platformer titles available, as well as the novelty of the Kinect interface, for the last 6 months the only thing it has done is Minecraft under the control of my 8 year old.
The Angry Birds example is one of a value add, whether it is optimized for the interface or not. I don't look for a console because it plays something like that, but if I've not completely decided on something, and those kinds of titles are NOT available, it will definitely push me toward the console that DOES have that option.

There won't be a conflict with this?
"Microsoft Surface".
Honestly, I hadn't heard of the Sony one, either, but I did pay a bit of attention to options presented at CES.
I'd push them to 7th, right behind FireFox OS. At least most people have HEARD of Firefox, and it will run on much cheaper hardware.

Did anyone else notice the lack of a registered trademark symbol on "Google" at the end of the video?

Angry birds on a console wouldn't (IMO) do much good. I doubt anyone would play angry birds on a PC/Console.
Yep... nobody does that.
"but there are an awful lot of BAD vehicles not only designed, but actually built, sold and on the roads."
And this is different from software how?
