FF (as well as JavaScript, that shit) needs heavier multi-process and multi-threading in this day and age of multicore, multithreaded CPUs. I switched to chromium just for that. FF just feels much more ponderous.

Uninstalled the app, started using FB via browser. For my low intensity usage it's still perfect. Also links to click and youtube embeds work seamlessly now. Got no messenger installed too.
I think food stamps cutting is just what the USA needs to light the tinderbox once and for all. You never know what will trigger the next uprising until it goes off. Any event - however small - can do.
