    The problem is continually trying to achieve photo-realistic 3D graphics. It's the uncanny valley; and the bulk of hardware spec increases are from trying to push that envelope.

    My favorite example of this is Warcraft 2. Ignoring the tiny resolution; the game doesn't really look 'dated' -- due to well done, albeit cartoonish graphics and animation. Compare that to Everquest (1998); which looks like someone stuffed a bunch of polygons in a blender.

    Similarly the AAA mega 3d graphics fests will follow the same pattern. In 5 odd years they'll look completely outdated and stale.

    If you were to graph out educational attainment for women, and population growth -- you'd see that they have a very strong, very negative correlation.

    That's the effect that gp was trying to point out -- send the womens to school, and the population growth rate plummets.

    Part of the advantage is being 'rich', is that you're able to expend a bit more money now, and have it serve your best interests later.

    Part of disadvantage in being 'poor'; is either not being able to take advantage of buying a new, more efficient appliance (air conditioners are a great example) OR not being able to see the forest for the trees, and realize buying a new AC unit will pay for itself in time.

    That's true, and to be fair, perhaps the image that came to mind was a 5'5 manlet with a combover +pony tail standing next to a rented mustang trying to woo girls with his cash flow :)

    So, sorry. And yes, rude people on dating sites are doing you a favor to be honest. If they're rude to a total stranger, why would you want to get to know them?

    IT could be because if a dude posts a picture of himself
    next to a sports car or in a tux iss a really fucking creepy vibe. Not to mention it says "i'm overcompensating!".

    Much like an obese woman taking an iceberg selfie, that accentuates cleavage.

    Man, just put the notice in the relevant states onto the keyfob itself. (Since the valet key is separate from the regular key.)

    they could also do a crop rotation with nitrogen fixing crops, such as peanuts. Grows well in Africa already.

    because bachelors degrees are definitely definitely equal. What's the gender difference in STEM fields (which pay more at the bachelor's level) compared to social sciences/education etc?

    Do female EE's make more or less than men with the same degree, same level of experience? That's a valid comparison.
    Females with a BA in sociology or anthropology making less than a man with a bachelors in computer science? Less so.
