    True for some flu variants, false for others. A bad flu is much more dangerous than Ebola, and absolutely kills healthy people in their prime.

    Caps get increased as the typical user uses more bandwidth. I used to get nasty notes from Comcast due to a lot of video downloading, but haven't since streaming video became popular, and led to the average user using just as much bandwidth as I do.

    How is a higher bitrate going to sell new TVs? Think of the poor TV manufacturers and sales people!

    I expect 4K to be over-compressed, and totally agree that the bitrate is often already too low for 1080p content.

    I think I see where you went wrong. That was pretty early to get a "smart" tv. Nowadays, Samsung is known as the one with fast menus. I'm very happy with my 55" 2012 Samsung.

    Nearly impossible. Even well-educated, cautious people make mistakes at the best of times. Throw in fatigue, lack of proper supplies, and overheating, and you have a recipe for disaster.

    Even without Ebola, it can be extremely risky to go to the hospital due to antibiotic-resistant bacteria. I'd just rub some dirt into that broken-leg and walk it off.

    I don't know when CNet went evil, but you were right to stop using them. I made the mistake of doing an express install of an application downloaded from CNet, and wound up with six malware programs installed and ads popping up all over the place. I will never download a program from CNet again.

    It would be cooler if it would work with a regular smart-phone and google-cardboard. The cardboard version would overheat my phone, but a plastic version of the cardboard design is able to produce VR that's much more effective than I expected without enclosing the phone and creating a heat problem.

    I bought this one, which lacks the magnet required by some VR apps, but works with most Android VR apps. I have not tried it with an iPhone. http://www.amazon.com/gp/produ...
