My problem with Prime was that the subscription only got you access to a portion of the content and that they still wanted you to pay extra by the episode or season for many TV shows.
That's why I very rarely use the video streaming that comes with Prime. NetFlix and Hulu don't try to hook me on a series, then start charging for episodes.
For a small subset of games, the touch interface is an improvement. They are great for Netflix as you mention, and of course for Hulu, Plex, and Amazon video. They also take up less space on an airplane tray table, and weigh less than most laptops. Tablets and laptops are very different products with different niches, that happen to crossover a little bit because some tablets have keyboard covers and can run PC software.
There are plenty of police forces who try to minimize loss of life, others shoot first and ask questions later, and get away with it even when there's a video of their actions. This shows the need for federal oversight of aggressive police departments.
Police have failed when they kill someone instead of taking them into custody, but it's not always avoidable. Sometimes an aggressive suspect leaves them no choice.
Authorities have bombed suspects, and their children, in our shameful past.
I hope the racist old days aren't back now that many Conservatives are now openly-racist, and even nominated a fascist as the Republican Presidential candidate.

If you're not broke, it means getting any console (or PC) that has exclusives that appeal to you - or that the friends you want to game with have, not just the one with the most exclusives. Gaming isn't just for kids who have to beg their parents to buy a console anymore. I expect that plenty of people have a nice gaming PC, an Xbox One, and a PS4.
They'll still produce games for the original PS4 because that's what their user-base owns. No one wants to trash their sales by narrowing compatibility to a console that most Sony gamers won't own. The only people who will buy this will be PSVR users and people with 4K TVs. This will be a fraction of the PS4 user-base.

Oculus has exclusives in their store, and recently added DRM to try to defeat software called ReVive that makes the Oculus store and games work for any OpenVR headset (Currently the HTC Vive). The ReVive developer quickly released a patch to bypass the DRM for some games, and promises to free the rest. He had to bypass the license check with the headset check, so he asks us to not pirate the games.
Any game bought in the Oculus store should be considered to be locked to an Oculus headset unless Oculus drops out of this DRM war quickly. This is more of a problem for Oculus' customers, who are currently locked in, but also a problem for ReVive users who bought games from the Oculus store, and can be.locked out of games they paid for.
Games for the Rift and Vive are available through Steam with no headset lock-in, so if you avoid the Oculus store, you can avoid the lock-in, but they have some good games in there, and are building more for the touch controller release.
There are currently Vive only games too, but that's just because the Rift doesn't do touch or room-scale yet. They'll be playable on the Rift when Oculus ships Touch and multi-camera tracking, and they'll be playable on any future OpenVR headset.

Room-scale VR does not cause any motion sickness. It's just seated VR that's a problem to some of us, because our inner-ears tell us that we're sitting still, but the world is moving around us.
I have a Vive, and have experienced zero sickness while playing room-scale. It's just fast-moving sit-down games like Project Cars that cause a problem.
There's a lot of potential to group room-scale VR in very large rooms. You can even add tracked props to allow touch.

There's a weird online misogyny movement that constantly freaks out when anything isn't made with them in mind. None of these nuts are men, though some are very old males who never matured into men.
Normally we learn to mind our own business when we live in high-population areas, so as to allow each other some privacy, but there will always be busybodies sticking their noses in other people's lives. Unfortunately that small group can now to much more damage than they once could.
