  1. Do we really want the UN to control this? on Behind the Fight to Control the Internet · · Score: 0, Troll

What has the UN proved that it can efficiently manage?

Why take it away from the hands that are running it efficiently?

More buracratic input will achieve what?

What problems will this proposed change solve? How will changing its control help the internet? These are the important questions. We should leave the internet as-is until we have compelling answers to these questions.

Amen brother. Most programmers would produce good code given a set of requirements that don't change daily and given a reasonable amount of time to complete the given task.

I place much of the blame on the management level individual that is supposed to direct and management development - this individual is the interface to the rest of the company and its his/her responsiblity to inform and educate his peers and superiors.

Developers implementing insanity can't help but let a little chaos loose.

Finally someone realizing that consumers drive the economy and that we want to be able to listen to music on our computers, rip CDs and burn them. Making your own compilation CD is legal and cool. Why the record and movie dorks keep trying to squeeze more out of us and give us less I don't know, but maybe this will start a wave of companies fighing for the freedom to give us what we want and will FREAK'EN PAY FOR.
