"This improper contribution of Unix code by SGI into Linux is one small example that reveals fundamental structural flaws in the Linux development process. In fact, this issue goes to the very heart of whether Open Source can be trusted as a development model for enterprise computing software."
What has been bothering me most about this whole fiasco is that SCO constantly calls the OSS model flawed because copy righted code May have been inserted into the LINUX kernel. There is no greater chance of copy righted code getting into LINUX than any other OS or Program. The only reason that SCO could have found the copy righted coded is because of the very nature of OSS. If LINUX was a proprietary OS they would never have a chance to see misappropriated code. They act like no as if no proprietary software company would ever violate a copy right.
You should defiantly go to college. Because it's the most fun you'll have in your entire life, you'll never again be able to experience the level freedom that you have in college. You learn more than just what they teach you in class. You'll never be exposed to as diverse a group of people in your life as you will in college. You can learn the material on your own but not the life lessons.
I had a Dimension XPSD 233 that had the mother board go in it. they were quick to respond to the first call but after installing the mother board I found that it had also fried the video card. They left me hanging for three weeks while they tried to find the same model card. After several calls I finally got them to send me a different model card, but it was a major hassle.
On the other side though I have had the computer for 4yrs and it still runs. There customer service may suck but they make the best computers out there.
