If every parent worried this much about their kids well being then everyone would know the correct way to treat animals. However, since many parents seem to care more about their cars, dogs, cats, computer, money, house, etc, etc, their children grow up not knowing how to care for anything.

  4. Re:Wrong question. on Saving Journalism With Flash and Java · · Score: 1

The answer is simple. Please quit writing opinion filled, right/left heavily slanted, editorials and actually produce content that is factual and well documented. Newspapers need to become the gold standard for factual information. Bloggers will clean house when it comes to opinion pieces. I always thought it was a journalists job to present facts, well documented double and triple checked facts. I feel like I am reading propaganda for whatever cause the newspaper as whole subscribes to.

I have Comcast, and even with their compression there is massive improvement (though I still do not feel that I am getting what I pay for). If you do not believe me, go to a friend's house who has an HD TV and watch the masters golf tournament for a few minutes.

If you don't see massive improvement, you need glasses.

You are absolutely correct. I was burned with ASP.NET 1.0 and 1.1 (ASP.NET 2.0 was what 1.0 should have been). I will not make that mistake with Silverlight or with any product from MS again.
