Samba is a great piece of softare, don't get me wrong... but you're still emulating that suck ass non-routable smb protocol. Why not use something worth your time? I'm sure some of you will say NetWare is dead, or NetWare sucks, but by saying that you are admitting you know nothing about NetWare and Novell's current product line.
Give it a shot. You'll learn something, and find out it's a much better product than SMB and any M$ attempt at an NOS.
Nice machine for the volkswagen bug driving vegan, but really, how long can Apple last? Do enough people really buy these things to keep Apple afloat? How much money does M$ put in? (They have a boatload of Apple stock)

It isn't about "fighting the feds and their software", it's about them even thinking they have the right to use and create this type of tool.
I guess it's time for my windows boxes to be pure game machines. no email, no IE (dl drivers from netscape on linux and ftp them over). who knows what the next step is with this type of software development.
apple should start having ads that say "think loser" with picture of apple. or think "the underdog" "yeah we lost, but isn't it cool to root for the underdog? buy an apple!" "PLEASE!"
