I know this is offtopic, but did you by any chance get your Osprey book from RZM Imports? I've never actually seen anyone talk about Military Modeling on this site before and it was a weird link since I maintain RZM's site.
Ironically this post comes as I'm reading Slashdot on my laptop because my desktop kernel panicked and won't boot up now... I've heard of the bad capacitor problem before, but I was hoping my Epox 8KHA+ was not among the victims. I've personally seen two Abit KA7 motherboards die from this exact cause, but that was well over a year ago.
Where can we get fonts?? Other than windows directory... I don't have one... I've been looking into this for a while. I've got all sorts of fonts problems such as quotes appearing as question marks and poorly rendered fonts and it's been frustrating.
I'd buy myself a nice G4 (or dual G4) if I could afford one! The only thing I don't like about Apple is the price. Even the educational discount I'd get as a college student isn't enough. I might have to just wait until I get a real job and can afford one... but by then Linux may have caught up and AMD's processors might blow away whatever Apple sells... and for a quarter the price!
I definately agree. I would love for a chance just to walk across camera for 1 second in a Star Wars movie, and then to have that taken away because of negative response would seriously suck.
If they are in it, good for them. I don't think they will be dancing or singing their music so who cares? They are fans as much as any of us are.
