Luckily for people outside the US, alot of them speak 2+ languages. If one of them is "American" then they are in luck because any OS will have a US option for language. If a person is using a OS that does no fully support their native tongue, the only immediate work arounds are changing OSes to one which does or if a person does speak another language look into support for that language on your current OS.

Quake on IPv6

but if it can be proven that games will work on IP6 like in said aticle, then ISPs will be more inclined to promote it and add the functionality if they know a market already exisits to support IP6.
Looks like it will be up to developers wh still beleive in individuals' rights on the internet to continue to write utilities to bypass these filters;)
many of the companies that sent you junk with pre-paid "reply" mail, have already paid for the postage. last time I
checked, no matter if you throw the envelope away or whether you send it back it dosn't cost the company any more or
less, becuase they have paid in advance for "bulk shipping rates", hense the written notice where the stamp should be "no
stamp needed..." If it says pre-paid shipping then the company just pre-paid a set amount at a very discounted rate
becuase of the bulk they were going to be sending out. It is unlikey and big waste of time for th epost office to track all
those darn lil envelopes and figure out charges on EACH one (esp. considering the amount of those envelopes that are sent
on a dailey basis), and then have to invoice the company for them. The most standard way bulk mailers do the no postage
envelopes is to apply for a bulk rate, and pre-pay shipping on all of the envelopes based off of the number of mailings they
will be sending out.

In the short term, TAKE A VACATION, if you are the sole UNIX admin you probalby more then deserve it;) LOL Just bring a laptop, cellphone, pager, what ever you think you'll need "in case of emergency". That way you can have some fun but the company is not completely SOL.
In the long term,HIGHLY suggest that a second admin is hired to lower your dailey work load and also in cases like this when you want vacation time or are just out sick for a day.
Many great points have been made in regards to who the target market is. OS X is targeting MAC users who want the power of UNIX. If users want UNIX they run a big work horse like Solaris..etc, if they want to run UNIX on an x86 they most likely go for Linux,BSD,etc. and now if they have a mac or mac server then can get all the thrills of UNIX with out even switching hardware. This actually means great things for not only Linux but UNIX too. Not only would it be great to pull more server to Linux away from the evil monster, im not going to mention any names Ill just refer to them as MS . Whether someone is running Linux, BSD, OSX, or Solaris, its a big step for UNIX users all over and not too mention a peice of Market share away from the "darkside" of OSs *cough* windows *cough*. Linux is not for everybody, which is alosy why we have many forms of UNIX not too mention even sub breeds of Linux. I think OS X will be a big step into getting a UNIX based environment onto the desktop of home users (non-techies) and end users. As more people fall in love with UNIX over windows it makes it even more appealing for them to also want to install Linux onto their home x86 systems.
In most companies money IS an ISSUE. To get approved funding for what the database may be in 5 years will be hard to get funding for. Since money is allocated in fical YEARS typically the accountants will talk to the IT staff and ask how much they need for a YEARS worth of equipment. While you are researching you options look at the best you can get for the size in the next couple years. if you need to upgrade look at scaleability and also if the DB is active 24/7 or if you needed to implement a larger stoarge solution in 2 to 3 years then how long will it be down or CAN it be down for any amount of time.
I'd assume they would allow payment the same way every other e-commerce site does, credit card, checking account banking numbers, etc. By allowing things like credit cards then it allows you to buy more points at a time and would also allow for an 'auto-buy' feature so that if you were playing a game it would allow for you to already have credits waiting for the next match or heck, even a "buying on margin" type system with established credit. I think if structured well enough tihs would be a REALLY easy sell to hook people and knowing human nature and how addicting gambling and online gaming is I think the concept, if marketed properly, will be an easy sell and will net in very large revenues in the next few years.
The simple solution here even with out biometrics is if the internal company is so corrupt, or even an individual may be, such that someone who would have access to your PC to send emails as you and use a sniffer to get your cert password. Then don't import your cert into your mail program. Kepp it on a smart card and that pretty much keeps anyone from using it becuase they would then have to not only have your password but would also have to have your smart card containing your cert.
Most bang for the buck definetly is Aiwa. I typically have been a big fan of the Kenwood Excelon series for quite a while. As a MP3 player and stereo the AIWA is good I just didn't like the look for feel of it. The Kenwood Z919 you are paying a bit more becuase of the quality of parts Kenwood uses, plus a nicer cover, screensaver on it, the fold down "Excelon"feature that the upper end models have, you get 3 sets of RCA outputs, Changer control, control for video devices in your car (pretty slick), plus I just like the touch and feel of it.
Final thoughts:
AIWA:
Pros-Best bang for the buck as an Mp3 player and basic stereo
Cons- Look and feel remind me of a "Fisher Price, my first Stereo"
- From a stero standpoint not as much expandability as Kenwood
KENWOOD:
Pros - More stero features, and usability and feel are very nice
Cons - Price!
Alot of other pros and cons have been discussed in this thread already so i decided only to really touch on the ones that either hadn't really been discussed or the ones i cared about;)Either stereo is good, it just depends on if you are looking to expand your stereo system beyond just a replacement for your current 'radio' or you might want to polay MP3s, CDs, and may want to start adding external amps, DVD players, etc.
You said you recieved an x.509 cert. Was it an identity cert (used for signing emails) or was it an encryption cert (used for encrypting emails)? The uses are basically interchangable but certain CAs conform to different standards for their usage.

I use SIMAP, prefer it over POP
