    The 'web development' players 'making web pages' keep shooting themselves in the foot, it's time to start amputating the damage. Instead of educating better developers, it's time to take away their gun.

    If you send four of the same info that might not get there, how would you know that someone didn't intercept one and let the rest pass by? Whoops, that would circumvent the basic security promise of the quantum entanglement theory.

    How does this help anything, in practical terms? I mean if you don't know what is was you sent, how does it help to know what it was when someone gets it? If you mention the word entanglement I will hit you in the eye with a bazzillion photons of 'unknown' state.

    We need a cure before it gets out of hand. How much energy does it take to make something practical out of this vs how much you might get over it's lifespan? I wonder if a paper-sized sheet could power a mechanical clock. Hey the clocked stopped, the wifi must be down :D

One unforeseen problem and suddenly the power grid is down and now internet is down and now nothing wants to come back up because A service needs B service, which needs C service, which won't start until A service is back up, all while F service decides there is a problem and tells A service to wait to restart until Z service is restored, which depends on B...

    This isn't about stealing, it is about wiping out the records of everyone's numeric monetary assets just to fuck up the entire system - it's just gone. If they instead wipe out all the records of debt - well, we all should have been in debt!

    I can't be the only one that finds a dark background and white text easier on the eyes. It is just more comfortable. Modern UIs are like staring at a bright light bulb all day. I guess they are fine outdoors and under bright lights, but in normal inside lighting conditions, especially in a home all white is just annoying. Paper products are like this because paper is inherently light, and reflected light works well there. Computers are shining lights into your eyes, it is a completely different medium - I wish manufacturers would realize this - they killed off paper now stop trying to imitate it.

    It's mostly online only. Even if you can find a box with a cd or dvd in it, it probably requires online activation. I still have my games (and other things) from years-gone-by, and if I install them from the distribution disk they still work. How is anyone going to be able to do that with anything released in the past decade or so... modern games are going to be quickly forgotten.
