This needs to be modded higher. This is a great book. I don't know anybody who's read it and didn't find it useful.
Strangely enough, I don't hear people recommending it until after there are marriage troubles. It's really worth reading, especially before you get married.
I just wanted to share something I noticed. This was in the BBSNews article "a single mother of two sons". While you probably won't see it mentioned, that had something to do with this as well. My wife originally started college intending to get a degree in education. After learning about all the politics and other BS she switched majors. You'd be surprised how any 'average' college behavior can jeopardize any teaching career. Sex before marriage, if it is found out, can be enough reason in some areas. There are a lot of parents that would complain that the teacher wasn't a good role model, and thus a bad teacher, solely for that reason.
There might be more at play in this particular incident, but it takes very little to lose any prospect of teaching even if you manage to get your degree.
There are many reasons people use Macs other than the looks. One of the main reasons I prefer my Mac over my PC (yes, I own both) is that my PC is a piece of crap. I don't mean that its old or has bad parts, I built it using top of the line parts. My main complaint is that I've spent a couple of days just getting it backed up, formatting the hard disk, and reinstalling everything. I've done the exact same on my powerbook in two hours(I have a lot of stuff on these computers to reinstall). The PC never runs like I want it to, that is when it's running at all. I've purposely screwed up my Mac and it still manages to fix itself, yes FIX itself. It took two reboots but it seemed to figure out that I had renamed the system folder (something you can't do without messing around with stuff). I prefer my mac any day. It is only a 233Mhz but still seems fast as hell. If Apple ever goes out of business(an extremely unlikely possibily recently) I'm going to continue using my Mac even if I have to write my own programs for it.

From the article: The lawsuits announced today were both filed June 9 in the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York.

So does that mean that I was wrong for using AOL cds as coasters all these years?
Last I checked, Blizzard was using Bittorrent to distribute patches for their MMORPG, World of Warcraft. That sounds like a legal use to me.
