A great way to get around the fluff albums with the one or two good songs is for the stores to replace (or augment) their CD section with a handful of CDRW terminals. Running some sort of Linux of course...
You could search for the songs you want, add them to your disc(s), then it would ask if you want them in MP3 or CD Audio format. It would then tell you how much it is going to cost, you pay right there at the terminal, wait for the CD(s) to burn, and leave with your CDs full of music that you actually want to listen to.
I am setting up a Red Hat 9 replacement for our IIS webserver now (instead of downloading and installing the 4 IIS patches just released). We need alot more people with this attitude. Once vendors/manufacturers recognize it, that's when they will begin showing a little more support for "the cause".
--shameless props: MBNA mastercard credit card gives to the Linux Fund every time you make a purchase. Get one today...
I consider myself an Information Technology Specialist becuase my knowledge and experience can be placed all across the board. I've written programs in several languages, created and webmastered many websites (static, dynamic, flash), created and still maintain several PHP/mySQL webs, build computers, fix computers, solve windows, red hat, and mac problems, networking (crimpin cables to settin em up), and consulting. I was wondering just how many people do everything an entire IT department is supposed to like I do?
I work at Circuit City. If you preorder WC3 there, you will get a free poster. Don't know if it's worth it, but some peeps just like free stuff. You can either spend $12 to order and pay the rest when you get it, or pay the whole price and wait on it. Don't mean to advertise, just thought some of yall would like to know from someone on the "inside".

This is so incredibly funny because we all know this is true!
