  1. Well now you've appologised... on ZDNet UK Begs for Google's Forgiveness · · Score: 1
Google UK has told us that we'll have to talk to Google US to find out whether we too have fallen under the writ of excommunication.

Well, now they've appologised I'm SURE Google will be fine with them!

Damn, I still can't reach the level of sarcasm required to write for ZDNet.

  2. Re:The US? on Zaurus SL-C860 Review · · Score: 2, Informative

Looks like Amazon think the SL-6000 is iminent, they've just knocked the SL-5600 down to $289.88 (42% off)

  3. How stupid on Backlash as EMI Hunts Down the Grey Album · · Score: 5, Insightful

Why don't EMI sign the guy, or at least come to some kind of arrangement to get commission from the sales?
From the reviews (and prices on eBay) the albums been getting they could certainly make a good profit.

Seems these days the first response is always intimidation rather than considering other possibilities.

  4. Could well be a mistake by palm on PalmSource Drops Mac Synchronization in Cobalt · · Score: 0

I think Palm really need to consider this more. When people are looking for a PDA, the first main choice is "PocketPC or Palm?" and the fact that Palm was the only option with native support for the Mac must have influenced a fair few buyers.

Although Missing Sync looks like it will work, palm has lost that edge as you'll need to pay the extra 30 bucks whichever you choose.

  5. 5 reasons to choose to ignore SCO on SCOoby Snacks · · Score: 5, Funny

    1. SCO have proven themselves unstable and can be relied on only to make random legal claims with no actual backing.
    2. SCO have recent experience only in pissing off their entire potential customer base and making half assed threats.
    3. SCO CEO, Darl McBride should be committed.
    4. SCO can't even take simple steps to stop a DoS of their own webserver.
    5. SCO are currently in a legal quagmire of their own devising.

  6. Re:The Popup Killer spreads the Gospel on 4 Years Later, The Mozilla Tide Has Turned · · Score: 0

You're right there are pop-up blockers for IE, but hardly anyone I know uses them. People who have less idea just use IE with the pop-ups and complain about them constantly. People who know what they're doing more use mozilla.

If you're going to go to the trouble of making an extra download why not download a better browser rather than an add-on to improve the usability of a poor one.

  7. No longer Roogle on Roogle: RSS Search Engine · · Score: 0

Looks like Google are onto it already, their "horrible logo" now reads "New Logo Needed! (The search engine briefly known as 'Roogle')"

  8. In related news... on Taiwan Asks Microsoft To Open Windows Source · · Score: 0

God asks Satan to try being nice to people.

  9. Re:why pay at all? on Star Wars Episode II: The Book Review · · Score: 0, Flamebait

Yeah there's no point watching a movie other than to "talk shop with fanatics".
    I don't know why I ever bother.
