    The solution is to simply run a conduit between the buildings underground. It really is not that expensive (I have consulted on several projects doing just such a thing).

    It is the best solution for the astetic views and it also if done properly can allow for future expansion by simply running another line through the conduit.

    Or they could just have that email system I saw on TV (I think his name was Ted).

    Have you ever seen the price of high end 3D Cards?
    They start in the $1500 range and go WAY up.

    I had a guy at the local base show me a card (forgot the name) that they spent over $3000 on (for doing 3ds max rendering) and they couldn't figure out why a geforce 2 mx was better in quake 3. The performance on the 3d design was amazing compared to a retail card.

    They dont want to kill their high end market so it's unlikely that you'll see drivers that take full advantage. $$$ is king.

    You get about 6-10 inspections per house depending on which city and county you are building in.

    Foundation
    Frame
    Plumbing
    Gas
    Electric
    Roof
    Driveway ....

    And yes I do check out cars ratings and reviews. Like I said, if anyone is stupid enough to purchase any product without doing research they get what they deserve.

    When someone said a sucker is born every minute, it rings true because most people don't want to put forth the effort and will believe what is told to them.

    If you had a doctor saying you had a problem with your health and he wanted to prescribe a experimental drug would you a) believe the doctor, b) get a second opinion or c) ignore him.

    The correct answer is b) a second opinion. Ever heard of that? That is why you dont JUST read tom's hardware, or car and driver. Research pays for itself. Thank god the internet is available as a resource.

    If you can legally come up with a stratagy to beat the house then all's fair. Fuck Vegas, it's a idiot's paradise (or MIT counter). Skanky hookers (or mexicans passing out fliers), overpriced food, hotter than shit weather, horrible layout of casinos. Overpriced shows.

    All this just to gamble. I just go to New Orleans and avoid vegas altogether. And N.O. has a lot more to do that actually involves something cultural.

    Hell at least Atlanic City has the boardwalk and pizza (very scary area though).

    2 or 3 reboots to install (from scratch MSDN disks). It takes about 3 hours to get all the patches so your computer doesn't get rooted and give someone a backdoor to all your corporate info. I got them to let me setup a demo box running RedHat 7.3 and it's been working flawlessly. Our CIO (new hire) comes down tomorrow to check out our systems. I cannot wait to see the look on his face, our office is a piece of sheit.

    Now at my personal company I run Linux on all the servers and run Windows XP (Games), OS X (& 9), Linux, Solaris (which is the most confusing in my opinion), Win95 (for my ancient dos games) and FreeBSD (Qmail server). I've found OS X to be my favorite GUI by far and once more games start migrating to the Mac I may be able to kill the Windows altogether (doubtful unless the IBM PowerPC is real and not hype).

    Or at least that is what I paid for it. The first game I played that made me move from my gf2mx to the geforce 4 was neverwinter nights. That damn game will lag my gf4 if i have settings too high. Howver in Quake 3 i get 110fps with everything on it's highest setting.

    Cheers, and play nwn if you want to see your gf2 choke hard (set everything to high).

    The first console video game I can ever remember crashing in the middle of a game. My little brother said "damn I guess I shouldn't try to move that way again." Lol. Leave it to MS to crap out a completely new market.

    However I will say I'm a big fan of EA Sports and this NCAA football 2003 does not disappoint (except the fatal error, at least there was no confusing blue screen).

    The user interface places the up and down arrows on the bottom of each frame. You can also get a mouse with a scroll wheel (a la MS Optical Mouse). However on a laptop why not just use the up and down arrow keys? Seems the easiest solution.
