No legal system in Europe would see consentual sex as rape. Both girl took him to bed, there was no force or coercion and they both bragged about it afterwards without saying that anything had been against their will. There is no case to answer, there is not even a charge. It is only about getting him back on Swedish soil.
Talking like an arrogant fool does not make you sound more correct, in fact it makes you look more stupid given that you do not understand what you talking about. The case is not in America and the woman's views do not affect the case. STD tests are not printed, they are given in person. You do not get a certificate. He was in Britain, a British hospital will not give that information to anyone else even if requested.
I think you should read about the case and get over your idea that it has anything to do with the women or rape. It was solely about getting him physically in Sweden. If the "he said, she said" stuff made it rape, then if I had sex with a 14 year old girl that said she 18 it would be her that had raped me, rather than the other way around. The whole case was obvious BS and the facts of the case have nothing to do with what was happening. He had not been charged, so there were no grounds for an extradition, yet one was granted... There was no evidence, yet an extradition was granted... It was just theatre to convince the plebs that he is a bad man.
If it cannot be proven, they are innocent. What is being said here is that certain people are above the law and can decide without a court that someone must be held for life. That is a very dangerous precedent. If there is no evidence they may be wrong. In most of the cases that I have read, they were wrong. I accept that as we get nearer the end there are a higher percentage of true cases but it is the Bush witch hunt that has caused this situation, not the people in Guantanamo. If any one should be on trial is Bush.
"we know are guilty" often refers to people from places like the Yemen, where after US offered $1000s reward for any Al Qaida members of the local law enforcement could write their own evidence and name the husband of some woman they wanted. The whole system was broken from the start. A few thousand $$$ is a lot of money to a policeman in Yemen or Warizistan.
Most of them did nothing wrong and are welcome back to their own country or any country with a valid arrangement. Some have been demonised to the extent that their country is willing to ostracise them in order to curry favour with the US and a small minority are genuine criminals that are not welcome home but are not the responsibility of US and should not be in US custody.
If you really want to read about it, I would suggest you start with those that have already gone home. One of the guys that went back to the UK had been held because his passport had been stolen, reported stolen and turned up in Afghanistan (he was not in Afghanistan) so he was a victim that was held for years. Most are just foot soldiers that defended their country, I suppose you think that no Americans would defend their country if invaded? If it is OK for Americans to defend then it is OK for these guys to defend and just as many Americans would want to kill Chinese if China invaded America, it is perfectly normal for these guys to want to kill us.
Yeah, and when I was a child I had to go out and hit people over the head with an anvil everytime I watched Tom and Jerry. We should ban all depictions of violence because we know that all American children are too stupid to tell fiction from reality.
I am not him so I cannot say what he was saying but I think he is referring to - http://alienware.com/ubuntu/ - if you go down the bottom and select Gaming Services and then Supported Games you will see some of the old Blizzard games but it is not Blizzard that is doing the support.
Electric cars sound great as long as you do not live in a flat. How do you connect to the power grid if you have to park out on the street? Most people cannot even park outside their own house let alone connect a power lead. If you live on the fourth floor you are not going to hang a power lead out the window:-) I do think that it is great tech but it is very limited.
Is this supposed to get us interested in Quora? If so, it failed. If this is an example of the level of intellectual masturbation on Quora now I will continue to stay away from that boring site.
Not surprised that you stay anonymous when you write shite. Lots of drama, no content and a complete lack of understanding of what you are talking about. Even a lack of grammar but that is normal here. You really should look up and try to understand the meaning of 'fallacy' because you use one. If I am against something, that does not in any way say that I support anything else. This may be a bit hard for your troubled mind but such an assumption in a discussion is called a fallacy. If I say that I do not like apples, you cannot say that that means that I drive a Ford truck. It is not a logical assumption. Adding lots of dumb drama to hide behind just makes you sound like you are having a period.
That is the same dumb concept that gave us the nuclear industry. They honestly believed that by the time the magnox reactors came to the end of their life, we would have invented was of taking them apart and dealing with the waste. They are now past the end of their lifespan and we didn't.
Their health service was far superior to the US health service. Not being exceedingly rich, I would rather have what they have now to what poor people in the US get. The American people just fought really hard to stop the idea of real health care so that a few rich people could maintain their lifestyle.
ssshh... (they forget to mention that the nuclear industry will continue to kill people for thousands of years after the fallacy has been realised and people realise that it is as foolish as lead water pipes)
but he had not seen any drugs, only money. Should we legalise money? I think that the US has the craziest legal system in the world. The country that introduced the concept that carrying money to another country is a crime (called money laundering), given that I work in various countries for good money I want to be allowed to carry my legally earned money home with me but if I carry more than a trivial amount I am labelled a criminal...
From the article that you linked to "A grey market or gray market, also known as parallel market,..." - It seems that the English version of the page that you cite is quite clear that there are 2 ways of spelling the word. I am British and when I write on that site I write in English and point out alternative spelling just as this writer has. There is nothing wrong with the page that you link to.
Errr, for profit is the normal reason. Why do you believe that it must be impossible to make a profit if other people can make a profit? You just have to do a good job if you want to do well. The idea of intellectual property is that you no longer have to bother doing a good job, you just have to own the right to something imaginary and you can make people pay for it. It is the most stupid and destructive idea ever. It will ruin people's lives for a long time and people will have to fight to get free of this idea. What is left of the US economy seems to be being based on this dream but it will get rejected just like it did in the middle ages. For hundreds of years, our economy and the economies of most of the world flourished without this BS, yet fools still think that it would be impossible to live without it.
Has trying to bully a bully ever worked? I often use the bully analogy but I think you have stretched it too far. Each time we threaten NK or Iran we leave them with no other option than to threaten us back. We are as much a part of the bullying as they are. We keep telling them that if they do not do what we want we will hurt them and then we act surprised when they respond in kind. NK does not want a war. He is just a loud mouth, far less dangerous than loud mouths like Bush who actually kill loads of people at the same time. We need to stop escalating the situation with more threats, leave him alone and start helping China defuse the situation.
Why not? He was obviously innocent...

Can you tie your own shoe laces?
Why? You sit on the wrong side of the car and manage OK...
You have obviously never travelled !!!

The idea that any Russian hacker would want to steal the ID of some poor US guy is a little dreamy...
an oxymoron...

It is time that money was legalised.

Only a complete fool, April or otherwise, would base anything on imaginary property. There is nothing intellectual about that.
I actually miss /. on this day.
