I think you should read about the case and get over your idea that it has anything to do with the women or rape. It was solely about getting him physically in Sweden. If the "he said, she said" stuff made it rape, then if I had sex with a 14 year old girl that said she 18 it would be her that had raped me, rather than the other way around. The whole case was obvious BS and the facts of the case have nothing to do with what was happening. He had not been charged, so there were no grounds for an extradition, yet one was granted... If it cannot be proven, they are innocent. What is being said here is that certain people are above the law and can decide without a court that someone must be held for life. Most of them did nothing wrong and are welcome back to their own country or any country with a valid arrangement. Some have been demonised to the extent that their country is willing to ostracise them in order to curry favour with the US and a small minority are genuine criminals that are not welcome home but are not the responsibility of US and should not be in US custody.

One of the guys that went back to the UK had been held because his passport had been stolen, reported stolen and turned up in Afghanistan (he was not in Afghanistan) so he was a victim that was held for years. The idea of intellectual property is that you no longer have to bother doing a good job, you just have to own the right to something imaginary and you can make people pay for it. It is the most stupid and destructive idea ever. It will ruin people's lives for a long time and people will have to fight to get free of this idea. What is left of the US economy seems to be being based on this dream but it will get rejected just like it did in the middle ages. For hundreds of years, our economy and the economies of most of the world flourished without this BS, yet fools still think that it would be impossible to live without it.
