Really? I love the use of the F word, it makes you sound so much more intelligent. "I" am not being stubborn, I am having a discussion. KiB, MiB, GiB are made by marketing people who think consumers are stupid, they server no usefull purpose, there was never a reason to differentiate between KB and KiB in the first place.
There is no confusion, Bytes and Bits have nothing to do with the SI(measurement of length, volume, mass). They are a specific interger value(an unknown 1 or 0), nothing scientific about them.
No. I work for a WISP in northern MN and we have had full coverage for 3 cities (not really large cities, but still cities) for the last 2 years, and the surrounding rural areas as well.
people like game soundtracks? The music or muzak is the first thing I turn off when I install a game. It distracts me from the SFX. Its OK in cutsceens. But if the music is from pop or rock or whatever artists, it gets repetitive, thats where my own collection comes in.
I can see it being for server that host many games with many players, but where does this help me. I already have gigahertz upon gigahertz in my machine now, and it appears that the graphics cards are the bottleneck in gaming now.
If you have the time and interest go for it all.
I original wanted to do just EE, but then found
out that the college I wanted to go to only had
ECE. So thats what I took. Near the end I found
out that adding a CS major only required like
4 extra CS classes. So if you really want want
it all its not that hard.

The prefixes are different already, there is no centibyte for millibyte, it's not really a scientific measurement to begin with.
So there is no problem with using them in the original context (2^10....)
And no logical reason whatsoever for the terms (KiB,MiB,GiB) to have been created in the first place
Since Wikiapedia limits the amount of content, a lot of people are moving their edits to a topic specific wiki at other open wikis like wikia.com
"Wikia.com" for all the stuff you can't put on Wikipedia. - not an advert for them it's just true.
If you are going to make a mediawiki site use Wikia.com, all of the extra stuff that "doesn't belong" on wikipedia ends up there.
these are available:
pinout.wikia.com
pinouts.wikia.com
allpinouts.wikia.com
and any pagesyou have already made can be easily imported.

Sports and commercials are a waste of time. Instead of wasting my time watching it I'm writing assembly code for my HC12, oh what fun!
