    Yes, as we all know how all these dumb terminals supported graphics...

    For only about $100 per seat, you could run rich multimedia applications (limited by the XT at first, but quickly unlimited)

    It is only through Microsoft's generosity that personal computing truly became affordable.

    well... if i'm streaming music from a 128kpbs shoutcast server that's ~13KB/sec for about 2 hours a day (which I do most days), that's over 30GB right there. Not to mention game demos, Linux releases, and other crap. I've done 15-20GB of legal downloads in one day.

    As for John Kerry, he's only missed over 80% of the senate votes this year (from the AP). What's he been doing, instead?

    Remember the outcry in 1996 against Bob Dole, and how he was so busy, and couldn't have enough time to be a senator and run for president, and that everyone insisted that he drop out of the senate... and now the dems have two senators, and there's been no such outcry yet.

    One of the reason a lot of things, especially electronics, are more expensive in europe is that both the euro and the pound are beating our U.S. dollar into submission at the moment.

    That doesn't make sense at all. If your currency increases in value in relation to another country, their goods typically drop in price in your country, not increase.

    Anyways... I was under the impression that moveon.org had pushed the hitler ad a little more than they might have, but the real issue I guess I have is with some moveon.org supporters/members who feel the comparison is legitimate (as well as some actors and musicians who think it's neat to include similiar images in their concerts).

    MoveOn had absolutely nothing to do with those ads; they were uploaded to their site, and MoveOn deleted them

    Actually the movie is still hosted on moveon's servers, just not linked.
