and you the fucking communist. Believe in all these social programs to redistribute wealth. I'm sorry but if you haven't noticed, are goverment has been growing into areas it doesn't belong, and our most important expenditure (militray) has been shrinking. What good is all these damn "social" programs without a country left. If you ain't disabled, and your poor, your lazy. Anyways, I went off topic to respond to a dipshit liberal going off topic.

On topic, I think publishing what people think about the case is just plain pointless. Avg personal can't work a vcr let alone understand laws and court decisions and such. The human race as a hole is pretty damn stupid, we only have a small percentage of people that have a bit of sense to them. Anyways, just my $.02

I'm assuming they would ignore it if it was a one time occurence because sure it isn't probable that 2 programs could be very similar but it isn't impossible either. Great minds think alike :).

yes and then to be legal you would have to add $100 for oem version of windows. Then of course you will need a monitor add $150. That takes it up around $700. Of course this is assuming you know how to build a pc. If you don't, then you have to pay somebody to build it for you. So it becomes more expensive then a dell. Dells are great for people who don't know what they are doing, and i'm glad they are there, so I don't have to build pcs for every idiot I know and get phone calls all day long on how to install a damn printer. Anyways, back on topic, celeron and duron are stupid cpus that should be left in the past. There was once a time when top end cpus were expensive and you needed a value line cpu, but those times have come and gone. You can buy athlon 1.2ghz for less than $100, why the hell would you want a duron?

Anyways, people that use the argument about having shit on your pc are stupid. First off, sports games are far better on a console. Secondly, racing games are much more enjoyable on console. Finally, if you haven't noticed, a lot of pc game makers have been going belly up because there ain't any money in it, too many piraters, and too many shitty releases. I have a Xbox and I would say it is the best console out there in terms of hardware and in future software (ps2 has it beat in current software). Also, you can play your ps2 version of a game when I will be playing my superior looking version on the xbox.

  5. this crackdown is bs on Educating Youngsters About Piracy · · Score: 0

This crackdown is bullshit. I seriously think my tax money should goto something a little more worthy. Sure I think it is wrong for big corporations to pirate software and such, but if your a poor college student like me and need office, or something like that and it costs more than your computer then you better believe I ain't paying for it. Also, if it is a game, I'm all about trying before buying. There are soo many crap games that are released and I'm sick of spending $50 for more coasters. Sure if you like the game, buy it, if you don't delete it. All these dollar figures they come up with on how pirating hurts the economy are way over inflated. You really think joe blow who makes $6/hr at wal-mart and just happens to have a $16,000 copy of maya burnt, was going to buy it if he couldn't pirate it? I just think the software companies bring it upon themselves by making crappy software and overcharging for stuff. For highend software they should offer fully featured noncommercial versions that are significantly discounted, and they should have some method of trying pc games before you buy them, and I bet piracy would drop significantly. Anyways, just my $.02 on that.

I'm sure this was done by joe blow in his basement before tivo did it, so that is another bullshit patent. Course then again i might be full of it, only time will tell.
