Oddly enough I think i was on the path to really poor grammar and spelling in IM until I switched to Linux. Okay, that sounded cheesy, but it is true. Since the Gaim client in Linux has a built in spell checker I would cringe to send a message that had red text. Thus, I now actually read what I am about to send. Not to be slowed in my communication though, I now type faster.

any economist would tell you they did the right thing.
so, essentially, they did the wrong thing.
Only if you are on/. and really hate to get paid.
Tannenbaum is reporting that the exit polls and the actual vote results are quite different there, as well. Big surprise. Of course, there is no proof that the fix was in, because Diebold machines don't leave a paper trail.
And said machines were used in very few counties in Ohio. Also, the main county they were used in (Franklin) gave a larger margin to Kerry than it did to Gore in 2000 see:CNN.
I voted this morning (in Ohio) using the electronic Diebold systems. I am well aware of the issues behind them because of their architecture, but I have to give them credit for their easy interface. If someone says they couldn't use it properly because it is too complex then they probably couldn't operate a shopping cart. If you have not seen them they are a white surface with lights that blink where you have not voted and a solid light where you have. Black boxes group the different candidates and issues. This is nothing like I was expecting. I assumed they had a more ATM like interface, which would have been more difficult to use I think. My only complaint was we only had five machines so I waited in line for two and a half hours (I got there at seven thirty).
I did not watch said special, so I have no true comment. My guess is it was more ``polite'' and less towards the whole truth about him. But if we are going to bring up other documentaries, what about Fahrenheit 9/11? I am willing to bet a dollar you saw that. Now come on, you are going to say that a supposed documentary on W. Bush can be grossly inaccurate but if it is about Kerry then ``fair and balanced'' or nothing?
You should be concerned, given it is a very recent event that mirrors the war in Iraq in many ways. And lets be serious here. You are posting on/. you are not that busy.
You see, you lost the point the moment you used someone else's endorsement of the documentary to formulate your opinion. I am not talking about right-wing politics. I am not talking about Republican pride. I am not talking about being swayed by anyone. I am talking about you creating your opinions on ALL the evidence. This documentary is just one piece of information you should digest. If you chose not to, then everything you just wrote is pure rubbish and I suppose this will fall on deaf ears. What is important to realize is Kerry wanted Clinton to attack Iraq in 1995 because he wasn't behaving nice. It is all there in easy to understand video. The documentary very clearly shows John Kerry's change in stance over time and how he spins things just about as well as any politician can. What is scary is people like you hold Democrats and Republicans to different standards when it comes to policy. To what am I referring? I bet you didn't think twice about America forcing a regime change in Serbia in 1999 because Clinton was in office. You probably thought it was justified or some other crap, because France was involved. You know what the biggest difference between Bush and the other piece of shit Democrats is? That Bush will stay in Iraq till the job is done. You know what Clinton did? Launched a bunch of missiles to kill civilians (damn, did he even go after military targets?) and leave the country in shambles. You know what is left there today? The country is still in ruins and the UN won't lift a finger. So take your self-riotous b#llsh!t and place it in an uncomfortable place. And since I know you don't have a clue about world history here is a tip: Google Clinton and Serbia. Open your eyes before you open your mouth and you might do a little better than I don't agree with you because Rudy Giuliani does!
I can't wait to see how low I am flamed as moderators respond without looking up a single fact here.
I recommend viewing the documentary at http://www.kerryoniraq.com
Perhaps you should consider how far back the documentary goes in time and then reconsider where you feel Kerry stands. What scares me the most about John Kerry is that he will change his opinion at a whim. I fear that it is my needs that he will turn against if he gets in office.
Even better in the origional would have been to use:
if (blah) { // stuff }
rather than put the == true part. It serves no purpose and clutteres up the code a bit. Assuming good naming convention on the variables then this will read nicely as well.
Since drinking alcohol would be frowned upon here I take the drink-crap-loads-of-coffee approach to feeling buzzed at work! Most days it does the trick. When it doesn't at least I can take lots and lots of trips to the bathroom.
As someone who is on a team developing a large scale Service Oriented App I can tell you all I hear around here is buzz words. This technology is ripe with it! On the plus side it has been a _lot_ of fun. But then again, I get to develop it and don't have to admin it. I can tell you these things are hell for the admins since they generate so much network traffic.
then it is still better than the alternative OS free machines. If a box ships with Linux there is a chance the buyer will at least try Linux before installing Windows. Perhaps this will convert a few people, or at least let them realize there are other good alternatives out there.
Imagine what $31 million dollars could have done had they given it to various open source projects. Money in this world could really be put to better use.
RTFA twitless. The research was sponsored by this off the wall organization called the Dept. of Energy and has been around almost 20 years. Many interesting alternative fuel research projects were started in the wake of the '74 oil crisis. We have a lot of options we're not exercising, but the algae oil is one of the few that has the potential to replace all our transportation energy.
It may not be an evil agenda but he's definitely not putting a lot of thinking into what he does. Which makes you two a perfect match.
Well, twitless, maybe you should learn how to think in complete thoughts. If this technology has been around since the 1970's why is it George W.'s fault that is is not wide spread in use? I am not sure if you know this, but he has only been President since 2000. I know, he must have used his ``magic powers'' to stop all the other world leaders and corporations from implementing this. It really is a conspiracy. Run, get your tin hat and hide!
So when you think W. isn't putting a lot of though into what he does it is actually him just living in reality. That is something you should work on.
And some day I want to run it on algae oil. This article was on/. not long ago.
... Why aren't we doing this now? Guess it couldn't be because we have an oil family with connections to the Saudi Royal family in office? Or big oil companies with too much influence over elected officials? Nah, must be some other really good reason.
In other words ``I heard about a concept technology the other week. Why isn't in mass use or production already? Must be the President with an evil agenda.'' Get over yourself.
I was just looking at the COTA website (bus system in Columbus OH) this morning for possible bus routes to work after I move next month. If I am no longer driving everyday I sure would prefer not to pay insurance.
Which has me wondering when google will enter the IM market. Perhaps they will make it so you can search prior conversations? An IM client is the natural place to house things like e-mail notifications.

More important is that one of these counties was Franklin county (Columbus) which went to Kerry by some 40k votes.
And said machines were used in very few counties in Ohio. Also, the main county they were used in (Franklin) gave a larger margin to Kerry than it did to Gore in 2000 see:CNN.

A slight correction then ``to scare the soccer moms in to voting for the Democrat anti-war candidate.'' Using Kerry was simply to apply a name to it.
No, the purpose of the bills is to scare the soccer moms into voting for Kerry.
> ...or abandoning important treaties like Kyoto...

Kerry stated in the article he does not support the Kyoto treaty.

No, they just had _really_ bad management. Opera is still here and quite fine as a business.
