5 million gallons may sound like a lot, but it's not event that big. 5 million gallons, equates to...a pool the size of an american football field, at 4 meters deep.
So how big does a pool have to be before you consider it to be big?
Skipping the "Who talks to each other that way after they leave their 20s?" issue for the moment, that's not the way you talk to "guys", that's the way you talk to "friends". If you were meeting someone for the first time, I doubt you'd be so, um, familiar with each other.
With the press as we have it being 90+% Democrats, who do you expect stories like the NSA issues to get anything but a passing mention? Just look at the outrage in the media if a Republican does ANYTHING wrong.
Funny, I feel the same way about products from California, due to their unreasonable hatred for the Constitutional right to self-protection.
Yes because there is absolutely no private gun ownership in California. Handguns and AK-47s are nowhere to be seen here, yep! Hunters beware because you won't get to shoot your precious game in the Golden State, no siree.</sarcasm>
A few rich guys who don't want to pay their taxes get together to do something about them. They have the resources to lobby a bill almost full time for nine months. In the end, they get their bill passed but whine that democracy is broken because they had to work really, really hard at it.
Article I Section 7 Clause 2 of the United States Constitution:
"All Bills for raising Revenue shall originate in the House of Representatives; but the Senate may propose or concur with Amendments as on other Bills."
The Senate takes the House's bill, rejects it as is, amends it to strip out the Obamacare nonsense, and sends it back. Ball back in Boehner's court but in this case he chooses to do nothing. Didn't you learn this stuff in 7th grade civics class?
Wrong. The Senate voted on the House's bill and rejected it. The House refuses to vote on the Senate's bill (because Boehner knows it will pass). It really is that simple.
I do NOT agree with the Republicans, but if they were legally elected, they now have as much right to repeal a law as the Democrats had to pass one.
You have no idea what you're talking about. This shutdown is not about Republican efforts to repeal Obamacare (they've tried plenty of times but this isn't one of them). Do us all a favor and do some reading.
Your security software vendor wasn't on the ball enough to port to iOS 7 in time, even though they had plenty of time to do it, and this is Apple's fault why?
Can't innovate anymore so they can only ride on the coattails of others.

Tell that to Pixar.

Liar.
It's a digital disk, read by a LASER.
No, LaserDisc was analog.
Was the "Uncle Tom" thing really necessary? No, it was not.

Are you completely stupid?
Only because people didn't know about the existence these guys yet.
...MS is racing with Google in attempting to take a larger bite of tablet market share pie.
Pointing your plane straight down and flying as fast as you can towards it is not considered "racing".
There's a reason my professor called Java a "Training Wheels Language"
This.
Nothing but him bitching about how PHP sucks...
To be fair, it does.
We have one of those in Los Angeles.

Must be nice. Some of us have day jobs.
I'll probably still need a cable subscription to watch live events on the web in the U.S. Sigh.
Oh, wait. That's for raising revenue. Which the CR doesn't do. Still the House's fault.

Intuit's online TurboTax is much more complicated than the sign-up process for healthcare, and it works under heavy load.
To be fair, TurboTax didn't always work well under heavy load. It has evolved over the years so now it works just fine. Something to keep in mind.
Conservatives are outraged that their government shutdown caused some things to actually shut down. Film at 11.

Only in their NRA-fueled wet dreams.

One is likely to have more use for socks and a toothbrush...
