Sorry, but that machine has very little marketing potential. A $449 machine, without a monitor, and with the specs you mentioned just doesnt cut it, when you can buy something like this, at a very similar price.
Oracle already has a similar product, the Oracle IFS. It's been there for almost 2 years now.
The only difference i could see is that all content is stored in a centralized repository(Oracle Db), instead of Microsoft's SQL server in every box strategy.

Most windows apps still use the registry to store app specific info.
Will dpkg use the same?
