Still way more expensive than a EuroFighter. But Canada's close ties with US Gov would have made a EuroFighter awkward for our relations. Despite NATO.

Will be available today but App Store not updated for the Swift manual.

XCode6 preview includes a syntactical guide (probably the same as what will be on iBooks).

10 minutes into it and I cringe at a specific feature:

Support for any unicode glyphs as variable/function names. Down to emoticons.

That will bode well when I need to use altavista to translate the chinese sources into something I can read.

Movies I buy (and I still do buy DVDs as well as online content such as through iTunes), usually are bought because I plan to watch more than once.

I'm sure the manufacturing and distribution costs of my DVD purchases are a lot less of a strain on the environment than having streamed these movies over and over. I cant count how many times I have watches some movies in my collection.

There was a story a few years ago that showed Boeing was successful in derailing an Airbus deal by using espionage and hacking to gather intelligence on the Airbus proposal, allowing Boeing to cut-in the proposition with their own submissions, finally realizing the deal at the expense of Airbus.

  19. Re:You Know They'll Roll Over! on Canada Quietly Offering Sanctuary To Data From the US · · Score: 5, Insightful

I think it would be worse for US to store their data in Canada because at that point, NSA is just spying on another country rather than in their own turf. Something that is in high scrutiny at the moment.

I made a scripting app and it's been on the App Store for a bit more than two years. Its not a mainstream scripting language but rather a forth/postscript -inspired stack based. So, whats keeping you guys from making a Python App? Or whatever language you want to use.

  25. Actually a bit the reverse. The developers where building an engine to be sold much like Unreal when Eve decided to go their own way.

The developers of the engine which had limited resources ended up making a mock universe as a technology demonstration and it evolved into the game it is today.

So yes, low budget, and they suffered years long of having no graphic artists on board, with aging texture maps and ship designs.
