The Gigabyte GA686BX motherboard has a jumper on it allowing the computer to automatically start up when the power is restored. However, check before you buy because not all of the Gigabyte ATX motherboards have this option.
From the power supply wires coming from the power supply in the case to the MOBO, short the green wire to ground. This will give you power all of the time.

I prefer to think of this in terms of Northern Ireland and the IRA. Jocks are the brits-- protestants, and "others" are the catholics. Some of the catholics get guns. Some of them get Law degrees and loin the Sinn Fein. Some of them just bear it.
We don't understand this because we have an overgeneral nationalistic/ethnocentric view --weltangschauung(sp?)--of the world. Whenever a heterogeous group starts to polarize, there will be tension and pressure. Each high-school, college fraternity/greek system, office/department is a microcosm of the larger society. When a political order emerges, it has to play by the same rules as any other political system whether it's white/Dutch South Africans against the Bantu people or whether it's the local high-school jocks against the geeks. Pressure builds up and will be released. If you make a peaceful "release" impossible (the haves defend their stake too sucessfully without assimilating the have-nots) you make a violent one imminent.
Also, the whole conflict is very animal. Jocks are battling for sexual dominance over geeks. This is all about fighting over the "best womenfolk" and general pack/herd-fighting for alpha-male status. Our problem is not the geeks, who are not pack animals. Our problem is the pack animals who establish the pecking order. High school trains people to establish the same social pecking order in the workplace to create the glass ceiling for women and minorities.
We should examine the social environments in our schools and re-engineer them towards teaching social skills that we want people to have later in life. Now, we teach people how to divide up and wage class warfare. Or rather, we create an environment where it is necessary to learn those skills.
Life isn't easy for most of us. Asian, Black, Hispanic, Native American, White whatever...
Life is hard. Bad things sometimes happen to good people for no good reason. You're not doing anything good by ridiculing white people when they snap. Blacks and other snap just as well. In LA a few years back an average weekend saw more young black kids murdered than were killed in Colorado last month. In East LA murder is nothing new among the latino community ether.
Is it alright to vilify all black people because of the actions of a few? No. Neither is it right to vilify all white people because of a few mental defectives in their midst. Don't get me wrong, I too have some pet peeves when it comes to the paler people among us (namely country music, Nascar, and the endless media attention bestowed upon Leonardo Dicaprio and Ricky Martin) but someone blowing a gasket and going postal isn't something that just white people do.

Why doesn't the VV look at www.faceintel.com- where a bunch of white nerd engineers expose the age discrimination and other predatory practices of Intel, for example?

WINE isn't in a "look and feel" type of situation. It's an out and out replacement. It's an implementation of the win32 API. WINE doesn't necessarily have to have the same look or feel of windows. But if the project is completely successful, all win32 apps should run under it, removing M$ from the equasion.

The most important aspect of the Star Wars movies is the story. When the first Star Wars came out, nobody really knew anything about the actors who played the characters. This is good. This means when we saw Harrison Ford we immediately thought of him as Han Solo. To be honest, I can't even remember the name of the guy who played Luke Skywalker. To this day everytime I see Harrison Ford in a movie I picture either Han Solo or Indiana Jones.
Lucas NEEDS to treat the prequel the same way as he did the original trilogy (with unknown actors) if he plans to keep focus on the story. If he casts Leonardo DiCaprio (or any other well-known actor) then it just will NOT be believable. We will sit there and think "Gilbert Grape is Anakin Skywalker?" or we'll be thinking of Titanic. This is way too distracting and will seriously take away from the story.
Oh yes, I don't doubt that "they" can *find out* anything about you.

One of the main problems would be having the sheer computing power necessary in order to process all those message. What you really need is some kind of distributed processing effort. They could always do something like save chunks of traffic, and then get unsuspecting computer users to download and process it for you. How? I don't know....maybe tell them they are actually helping the SETI project and are searching for exterrestrial intelligence? Just a thought.

BTW: Censorship SUCKS! Who ever censors this, you should better continue coding gnome. Then it might just become better than KDE. I thought this was all about debates and discussions ? Do you want to see only praise for GNU and RMS?
Slowly, running netscape was not recommendable, but it ran.
Since then KDE has gone thru 2 revisions it is faster and smaller now. I would say the minimum ram for serious work is like 16-20 MB, if you run only light weight apps.
