I know that humans had their own crisis, and could had go down to less than 10k like 70k years ago, and what saved them could had been more an ability (i.e. more resistence to cold) than a geographical location. With bees could be the same, just that you have more time, and more crisis (i bet most ice ages had a share here), to put them thru a test. All the times that something kills almost everyone makes the advantages that could help you to survive to be more common.
But then after saving her would not name the creek by the original (her) name. Could had won that name again if she falls in the end run in the train, but still was interference from future. Was not about people, but geography.
Time travel paradoxea worked different in the 1st one (you vanish from photos, or you cant touch guitar) from the second (alternate realities, universe exploding) and the third (marty still know the name of the teacher, the tombstone picture)
We already created one, and all humanity worships it, even if can't do FTL. And if well is not based in very advanced technology, people think that with enough of it they can do magic.
Technology made meaningless concepts like lending books, or selling electronic versions at the same price as paper ones (even if the costs associated with managing the electronic versions are orders lower than the ones with paper versions), even book scarcity or limited editions. But still bookstores don't like that people realize that the emperor is naked, so they are ruling that is fully dressed, and is your fault if you dont see that.
The problem is not technology, are the companies that should had became obsolete with it.
... are you serious? Yes, in a future it could eventually get cut and paste, while keeping iOS 2 style "multitasking". One thing that have Maemo over iOS and even Android is multitasking, you can run a lot of tasks, easily switch between them, and all running (as far the cpu holds, of course). WP7 have a broken design in that area. And betting that your users "won't need multitasking" is pretty close to say that they don't need a smartphone neither.
It sounds like MeeGoo will be just another closed system like iOS; one manufacturer, one app store, my way or the highway. MeeGoo will be behind iOS and Android forever causing every app publisher to make the decision whether or not to support a third OS. The answer to that question for many developers is no.
Uh? Not fully sure about Meego, but in the Maemo/N900 you DONT need to use Nokia's app store, there are several non official repositories already.
And regarding one manufacturer... Meego won't go just to smartphones, you have at the very least Intel on board, is open (dare to touch a line of iOS, or to legally to download it to put in your own phones), and intended for not just phones, but car computers, tablets, netbooks and other devices. Even sticking in Nokia's world, using QT for development of apps for it, mean that your apps could come from/to linux/symbian/windows/etc if using that libraries.
If you want to compare it with something, think in Android.
My first question is; how many people will be running command line tools on their phone?
Your graphical app could be the one running command line tools too.
Second the code must run on an ARM so must be written for an ARM. Can I easily port my Android or iOS app to MeeGoo? I doubt that very much. Which means that I need to write apps for a third OS.
The code must be COMPILED for ARM to run on ARM. In particular in Meego is intended to run in Intel (you know, is not coming just from Nokia) and ARM systems. What you can easily port is your Linux and/or QT app for it
... is in the eye of the beholder. Don't make them smarter or more advanced or with knowledge of what is beauty. A rainbow could be considered art, and that is just light passing thru a prism.
For text mode browsing i would go use elinks, with good (text mode) rendering of pages, ssl support and a lot of other features, but not sure in which state are the latest version of lynx, links or w3m by now. There are plenty of text mode browsers, and speed is just one of the advantages.
We finally found it. If we make enough graphene sheets, we could save the universe from the big freeze, generating enough mass to make the universe to be cyclical.
What is more, considering the color of the coal, maybe we finally found that predicted "dark matter" that could had done that effect.
Chrome gained 7 major versions while Firefox still at 3.x. Version number matters? Is not "winning" because getting up faster, look at windows version number in all its history.
Probably will change versioning naming scheme in not very long... at this rate will have numbers higher than the full year this decade.
In the other hand, is still a young product, probably will slow down new versions rate as its feature set stabilizes.
So US can do anything because they are the "good ones", despite what they are doing is evil actually, and been doing it for decades?
A country is (or should be) their own people. I could or not be seen as evil for damaging myself (i.e. smoking, or drinking coffee). But i will definately be if im started to damage OTHER people (like invading sovereing countries, desestabilizing governments in latin america most of the last half of last century, or kidnapping and putting in guantanamo without judgement people for years, even minors) for political reasons.
Not justifying China, but of all countries, US is the one that should not complain.
China doing what US did for years, with a lot more countries and products, for political reasons? No! War! Ban them! Maybe we can get all our allies to invade them for terrorism too.
Will be needed a major cyberterrorist attack till someone goes after the companies behind spam? Put all that are promoted thu spam in guantanamo (and the people they hired to do the spam) and people will start to think twice before going even close to that route. And that will kill most of the economical motivations of those botnets.

The bees that didn't knew how to somewhat "solve" that are the dead ones.

You are rigth, changes in timeline affects photos, but not memory, since the 1st one.

We call it money.
1 x the mass of Jupiter... you just need to add enough monoliths.
2 years ago the markets more than speed, needed acceleration, falling at 10 ms/s^2

Wasnt by any chance Austin instead?
the perfect match for artificial intelligence is natural stupidity. You have more chances to win playing dumb than trying to be too smart.

NeoPacman just need to take the red pill, and will be ready.
well, not so much, at the end is just 5 degrees, but the number looks impressive.
New calculations will push it further to April 1st, 2013

Will be siites and services with only ipv6 addresses, that won't be able to be accessed from ipv4
We didn't start the fire, said Obama. Mythbusters and/or Archimedes did.
So be ready to what will happen after that episode
