When it's a woman being threatened, people sit up and take notice.
When it's a man being threatened, it's rarely noticed by others or taken seriously.
As long as ending online harassment includes both genders, and complaints by both are taken seriously, then I'm in favour. If it only serves one gender, then forget it.
No matter what profession you're in, education is really only a foundation. Experience is the rest of the picture, and education is no substitute for it. Education only makes it a bit easier to grasp concepts that would take someone without it a lot longer.
If that aging equivalence were true, I'd be dead many times over by now. I have none of the health problems listed either.
Must be immortal like I always believed, then ^^
Look up Total Buscuit's video on 'was watchdogs crippled on PC', and tell me if the results between PC and xbone are surprising. They deliberately disabled the more advanced features, aka the ones we saw in the e3 video, on the PC despite the fact pc has little issue running them. Just to make so-called be then consoles look competitive.
First off, electrician here...your retard comment is way off base. First of all, go to a supplier and tell me what's available there for common jobs...you'll find it's wire nuts, armored cable, and non-metallic sheathe cable. Anything else is speciality, and costs a fortune...that's why you see said speciality gear on government jobs, they can afford it. This all being said, buddy saying that push together connections are better than soldered for reliability and what not is full of it. Push together connections make upgrading and expanding easier, that's it.
From west coast to east coast Canada was a lot colder than normal for May. Every news channel reported colder than normal temperatures across the world...where the heck are they getting the numbers saying it was warmer than normal?
Affirmative action doesn't work. It breeds resentment, you may not be getting the most qualified person for the job, and in the end it's really just an attempt at using discrimination against discrimination.
If you have two rocks, and someone gives you two more rocks, if you think the answer could be five there's something wrong. That level of math is reflected in the real world, so yes 2 + 2 = 4.
If you're far enough away from the nuclear blast to survive it, drop to the ground, face down, with your hands over your eyes. When the bright flash from the detonation occurs, you will be blinded. However by doing as I just instructed, your vision will return...rather than being 'burnt out'
To be fair, back in the 90's they said we'd see a lot of coastal areas underwater by about 2-4 years ago. I attribute that to scientists just starting to really model the problem.
The unfortunate fact is that if you were to cut a lot of these 'meaningless' jobs, you would have a much larger segment of the population dependent on government handouts, or on the street. Until you can come up with an economy where everyone can live comfortably and not have to work, those jobs are needed.
And as a big surprise to no-one with common sense, like all other gimmicks this expensive gimmick dies out earlier than expected. Honestly, it was a miracle it lasted this long...
Hm. They manage to give extremely high speeds for significantly less than North America in places like South Korea and Japan. By comparison, we're getting ripped off.
Non-addictive? Riiight. Sorry, seen far too many people up close and personal who were desperate for their fix.
Aaand while we're at it, let's not forget loss of cognitive function while stoned (incredibly useful to botch the whole experiment, not to mention endanger the astronauts that go to Mars), death of brain cells, ooo, and mental illness later in life!
Yes indeed, Marijuana is the PERFECT thing to prescribe to people going on this mission.
People need to seriously stop considering marijuana a 'safe' drug. While not as immediately dangerous as the 'harder' variety, it is at the very least as dangerous as alcohol, and possibly moreso in the long term because of the type of mental illness it facilitates.
That, possibly, but also that it had a different story format than ST. B5 was planned out from start to finish, whereas ST is a very episodic format, which is why there are inconsistencies.
Good grief. What the heck is so lame about camping?
Seriously, how often do you think people run around at high speed while firing guns happens in real life? I mean, I know we're talking about games here, but in reality so-called campers are actually employing a far more realistic tactic than dumbasses who run around like a chicken with its head cut off. I agree with you 100%, though, that people need to stop complaining about it and do something more sensible...like instead of charging blindly around that corner, throw a grenade of some kind....smoke or flashbang... THEN proceed around the corner. Better yet, come from a different direction rather than the same one over and over as you build said campers' score.
Just a quick divergence; do you honestly think that if labour unions were to disappear suddenly, that the powerful lobby that is big business wouldn't immediately go to work to redact safety regulations and lower wages? If you honestly believe the time of unions has passed, you're very badly mistaken.
What about misandry? Except for a few exceptions, games with human or humanoid opponents had the vast majority, if not 100% of the enemies being male. So it's wrong to have women be targets of one form or another in games, but just fine for men to be slaughtered wholesale? Or how about the stereotype that all heroic men are buff and good looking, never ugly and scraggly, or even average? What about the self esteem of male gamers plummeting when they realize that they will almost certainly never be as good physically as the character they control?
What about animals? Shouldn't games not have animal opponents because they're glorifying animal cruelty?
If they want to open one side of this, they have to open it all.
The best way to defend against a cme is to power everything down. All electronics, all electrical equipment, all the power grids. This will mitigate if not eliminate the damage, and will allow an eventual restart of all systems when the situation is resolved.
What WMD's? Do you mean the chemical weapons the US had provided Saddam with when he was their ally? Or the fictitious ones that supposedly led the US to invade the 2nd time?
World of Tanks and ME3 multiplayer still eat up large parts of my time, but I'm also playing DayZ standalone, path of exile, and now the titanfall beta. Looking forward to Watchdogs.

Rocket Robinhood's depiction of the Cosmos is starting to look more and more accurate >.

9 billion was an extremely lowball estimate. Doesn't factor in everything; the real cost is approaching $30 billion.

You're an example of a good CEO, then. There are plenty out there who are worthless, and definitely do not deserve the money they make.
