It's just another step on the enormous hoax that some "America" continent exists.
Didn't you notice how they say that these "rockets" were launched from "the United States of America". You know, that place that they previously called Atlantis.
It's obvious that the European kings used this "America" to hide the fact that they were exterminating religious minorities and poor people. Instead they say they migrated to the "New World".
Some try to justify this speaking about some "gold and silver". The kings and the church used this story to hide their experiments with alchemy.
Come on. Has anybody actually seen this America? __
It's a Mozilla spinoff. Think of it as xterm with icons. The usual Unix commands (ls,...) are hacked to emit XML and Javascript, and the XMLTerm renders it accordign to your favoutirte stylesheet.
So ls can produce hyperlinked icons, and you can process the XML through filters,...
I find it very interesting though very hard to realize.

I hate web sites that give you a 20 characters wide textarea when most of us are using at least 1024x768 for browsers. I personally use 1600x1280.
You shouldn't.
I think that scientific design says that the ideal width of text lines is not as long as possible. The eyes have to scan too many times horizontally. It is better to keep the number of scans per line to 2 or 3 (from memory).
So even when I have a big monitor, I don't maximize my browser window. __
I herard about studies claiming that twins living together are more different that those separated early. They want to be different.
He or she will know exactly what they will look like later in life,
We will have cosmetic surgery as an everyday thing (I read it form William Gibson.)
what kinds of grades they're capable of in school, what kinds of jobs they'll be predisposed towards.
Jobs will be different, schools will be different.
They will be constantly compared to, well, themselves (about 20-30 years down the road). What if they don't live up to the standards already set by their parents,
The same thing for sexual reproduction.
Additionally, this kid will know what diseases or habits he/she will probably contract later in life,
And by then they will be curable.
Basically, this kid's whole future will already be known. Where's the excitement in that kind of life?
This probably won't answer the question, but I find it interesting enough.

the current online version calls Albert Einstein a "German-American physicist", which I suppose is fair enough
I suppose that "Encyclopædia Hebraica" could call him "an Ashkenazi physicist, born in Germany and dead in the United States". I won't dare to guess about "Encyclopædia Sovietica".

As for disavantages, I can say that I tried to move teh database to another machine and the only way to get it right was deleting all local data and getting the lastest version from the new location. __
