  1. Jesux.com on Jesux is a Bad Pun · · Score: 1

Note that the WHOIS report for 'jesux.com' shows it's registered to "Satan's Minions." And it was just registered a few days ago...

Found that quite amusing... ya' think someone did that just in CASE Jesux is real?

    Hehe....

  2. GeForce name on nVidia's GeForce 256 Breaks Out; changes 3D world · · Score: 1

I know nVidia had a public contest to pick the name for the NV10 chip. And GeForce is the result???

Sheesh... what's next - a website about the chip named GeSpot?

  3. Dimension says it IS a crack on Microsoft's New Audio Format Cracked · · Score: 2

Dimension has now posted a response to Microsoft saying that unfuck IS a crack.

From Dimension article: "UNFUCK.EXE actaully breaks the protection on any file. There is no loss in quality, the file isn't re-recorded or captured in some way."

So MS says it captures and Dimension says it doesn't.

    Which is it??

  4. AXIS URL on Ask Slashdot: Multiple Webcams and FreeBSD · · Score: 1

Here's the AXIS URL for their camera servers.

Would probably work very well for you - Ethernet eliminates your distance problem, and standard TCP/IP eliminates any compatibility issues...

  5. Slashdotted... on Return of The Onion · · Score: 1

Darn it! I knew they were coming back from hiatus and wanted to go visit, but now that it's been announced here, I can't get to it!

Guess I'll have to wait 'til mornin'...

  6. Back out of auctions on The eBayla Virus · · Score: 2

eBay says they won't hold people accountable for bids entered with a pilfered password.

How do they intend to determine whether the bid was entered legitimately?

Seems like a wide open excuse for someone who does want to back out "Wasn't me who entered that bid. Must be that eBayla 'virus.'"

Dumb decision on eBay's part. If they decide not to allow JavaScript they won't PO that many customers, but the press over this virus sure will.

  7. SPOILER: Re: Lots of good logos left! on Silicon Graphics rebrands itself as 'SGI' · · Score: 1

Always liked Power Computing's logo (when they existed before Apple yanked their license).

Not very big, but you can see it here.
