Personally I hope Peak Oil and Costal Flooding happen simultaneously and soon. The status quo is just way to boring.

If you don't feel comfortable having sex, there's a good chance you might be doing it wrong.

I live in Novi, and our downtown area kicks ass. It's the west side version of Royal Oak. Plenty of great bars and restaurants for visiting geeks.

I started playing Diplomacy in high school and continued for about 12 years. It really was one of my favorite games of all time. There are now a number of variations on the original you can play based on stuff like Star Wars or Middle Earth, but they are all still basically the same game.

My last game of diplomacy was played via email a little under 6 years ago. We kept a map on www and updated it each turn, one turn a week.

Six months into the game the guy hosting it all quit, and I now have two former friends whom I refuse to have any contact with whatsoever.

I use Trillian for IM and one of the plug-ins for it implements RSS news feeds. Every time a new article is posted on /. I get a little pop-up window in the corner near my system tray that is a clickable link.

Not sure if there's a sway to tie it into jabber or psyc though as I don't use those, but I definitely get notification the exact moment a new article is available.

Thank you, I can't believe this discussion went this far without someone pointing this out.

The rockhuggers can lobby for all the laws, treaties, regulations, or whatever they friggin' want but who is going to enforce any of them?
