    actually patches or otherwise fixes the infested machines... :-)

    No, software it is not a simple tool to an end.
    Software controls the access to information in our society.
    Software controls more everyday, albeit on behave of other "real"/flesh and blood people.
    Without access to software (as in the GPL/LGPL), there are certain liberties/options restricted even today.

    Last time I checked, we DO use some vegetables specific to America. Don't forget about side-effects , we had quite a few of these with space exploration (medical/materials and so on).

    According to http://www.zoneedit.com/whois.html?zone=aspfriends .com,
    it seems that the current owner owns the domain for another 2 years. This (paying the domain) is more inexpensive than actually running the web-site (as mentioned on the web-site, about 3000 usd/month).

    The only difference it is that if I unfold the "right" protein, some corporation will get my money, compared with the seti case, where just the "right" people will know when the messages will be detected.

    The difference being that you can learn/educate
    yourself much easier using books than movies.

    Like in the entertainment education.

    And considering the bussines practices, you can
    be sure that in 10 years you'll have access to
    ebooks only...

    I can't stand it anymore! Why the f*** do they use such a poor design as many others - my question is: all you people have 800x600 (or maybe 640x480) screen res ? I have seen this on many sites, the pages it's fixed size, no matter the screen res. This is BS! Want to see what make rant? Go to RedHat with a screen res of 1280x1024 and try the same thing with this site. Go slashdot ! 'nuf said.

    So, if ( ! IF ! ) NT is 3.7 times faster (max) than a complete solution for Win NT + IIS (for 150 users) must be sold at 3.7 x RedHat 5.2 Distr. (or less to be competitive). Good luck, micro$oft!
