    There should be tech thatis barrel-mounted and snaps a pic every time a bullet is fired. Optional for gun owners (but a good idea) and mandatory for police officers.

    Speeding = higher risk of crash.

    Meh, that propaganda has been around for awhile...

    To an extent, speeding can perhaps make a crash worse, but that isn't really why we have speeding laws.

    many studies have shown that when a car hits a pedestrian at 40mph the fatality rate is ten times greater than 30MPH. and in a school zone, there are a lot of kids around...

    we should be more vigilant about revoking drivers licenses.

    i was in a 30 mph car-tree crash. single driver. airbag deployed. my eyeglass frames were bent. i bent them back. no bigs. i injured my shoulder from the crash tho.

    true story (it was from the Isaacson bio of SJ): steve was always on the lookout for excellent materials and craftsmanship. When travelling in Italy he noticed that the sidewalks of some Mediterranean town were exceptionally smooth with no wear, and they were installed during the renaissance. so he hunted down the quarry that was the source for the sidewalk, and uses material from that quarry for the flooring in every single apple store worldwide. talk about attention to detail.

    the thing I don't understand about windows. in trying to make their OS and apps compatible across all devices, they're attempting to dumb things down on the desktop/laptop. the online services all push people to one-window use. you know how stupid this is when a person has a multi-monitor setup? I'm always referring across documents, etc. lame. lame. so so very lame. windows stands or well I'm not doing office work suckers.

    don't be purposely obtuse MPG -> MPH. to the rest of your comment, there's a guy in my neighborhood who has a black hummer with all-chrome trim. license plate "MTV STAR". I thought he was the biggest douche until I realized that he's actually living in the car. I felt bad for him.

    wow those are tortured examples. I don't even think you need examples. cruise control, park assist and lane assist all help you drive. they don't do it for you. you can't take a nap, or text with your bestie, or fap. if autonomous cars were on the road I guarantee you that 50% of guys would fap. if you're fapping then yes, it will be hard to react in time to an emergency.
